[Today at 09:03:23 PM] SchizophrenicMC: I don't mean like seal leaks, I mean shit gets into the cylinder
[Today at 09:03:35 PM] seishuku: didn't burn oil either
[Today at 09:03:51 PM] seishuku: if compression is good, it's not going to excessively burn oil
[Today at 09:04:23 PM] SchizophrenicMC: In theory
[Today at 09:04:47 PM] seishuku: but really ALL engine burn a little oil, just a question of how much is excessive
[Today at 09:06:43 PM] SchizophrenicMC: I'm just of the opinion that, especially in high mileage engines, synthetic isn't matched to loose-tolerance engines from the 80s and 90s
[Today at 09:11:48 PM] SchizophrenicMC: My Jeep would not appreciate it if I switched her from 10W conventional
[Today at 09:11:55 PM] SchizophrenicMC: She needs at least 10-30
[Today at 09:12:08 PM] SchizophrenicMC: Runs better on 10-40 though.

The Greeks contributed to many things in our culture, such as olives, gyros, Lenny Kravitz, anal sex and Oedipus.
right now i am just looking at options. i am about to get a first gen crx for free so i am looking for something fairly cheap. the s12 is going to be my daily driver so i want it to be fast/fun. the crx will hopefully have a b16 type r in it. i just need more money!
i have both in stock 600 for na and 1000 for tt both comlete motor sets
And, I'm going to say this publicly. Maxpow knows how to keep me at bay, while still laughing with him. Take lessons y'all
Fuck That Guy!
yes you can turbo your se instead IMO it's not worth the hassle of swapping if you already have a vg30e you can do a remote mount turbo or you could tt the vg30 but you would have to get with Bart on that one because I beleive he has something in the works as far as that goes...btw you bumped a really old thread haha
Cant forget this pic
that swap is a pain in the ass trust me just boost the one you got if you blow it up it'll be cheaper to rebuild your then to buy a vg30dett and do all the stuff you have to do to get it running...Also I talked to the guy that did this swap and he stated the car never ran he couldn't figure out why either but he said it was not worth doing especially since he did all the work and the didn't run
yes the motor is gonna be a tight squeeze either way n/a or boosted just you'll have alot more headache with the boosted because of the turbos if you happen to blow one you'll have to pull the entire motor to get to it I say stick with the vg30e and have fun with it. But if your hearts content with gettin the vg30de/dett then go for it but you'll hate yourself in the end
yeah the z31 guys are making over 500hp on the single slammer... wayyyyyy too much power for any s12. just go with the cheaper and simpler sohc motor. there isnt much difference, at least worthy...
