Haha, not yet! But I have the new head, so if I can manage to get everything together this weekend it'll be in soon. I'm just worried about fucking up timing

yeah i know, tell me about it
well i had a scare today. tucking the rest of my harnesses and got everything connected while i noticed my brake lights we on at all times   so i looked around and found my brake switch wasnt getting pushed off. after further inspection i noticed the little rubber plug on the brake pedal assem. was gone! so the striker on the switch was going right through the hole where the plug is suppose to be at. why nissan used a rubber plug rather than something stronger i dunno, so i got a nut and bolt and made a far better peice. now my light work properly. so if anyone has brake lights that stay on check the pedal up inside the dash, make sure the switch has something to push it off.

heres some shots of my bumper. again with the rustoleum rattle can. this paint can flex pretty well, no cracking. i was standing on the bumper, giving it the pressure test. i was going to leave the bumpers flat black but it turned out to work pretty well.

me too!come wednesday i'll have a few q's for you. i'll be picking up the rest of the stuff needed to finish this up.
my short list...
plugs, wires, dist. cap, belts, hoses, intake piping, clutch, flywheel, clutch fork, driveshaft, filters and fliuds. theres a little more i  to get but not really needed.

i wonder if this is a real exedy, the price is good. i just need a oem replacement, i'd assume this is better than autozone clutches.

I looked on the XXR website for specs on the Sportmax wheels... they don't list the offset. Do you know what they are?

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch

16x8 w/ 0 offset will fit without fender flares or whatever?

So I take it 15x7 w/ -6 offset will be out a bit farther than 16x8 w/ 0 offset....?

I mean thhe 16x8 w/ 0 will be 6mmm further in, but a quarter inch larger.

Man they need a wheel calculator like that miata tire calculator.

it's simple math man, approximating that 1" is 25mm, x8+0 will stick out 12mm more than x7+0 because the extra inch is halved on each side. so x8+0 compared to x7-6, the x8+0 will stick out approx 6mm more.

I know the differences, I even have a ruler that shows both back to back, what I'm saying is Andrew says Joe has 16x8 w/ 0 offset, and I see the pictures, and it fits fine, doesn't stick out past the fender lip.

But by my calculations, taking into account our stock offset (which I read somewhere was +35, or was it Sterling who said that? I don't remember), 16x8 should stick out more than what I see in the pictures here if they're 0 offset.

Maybe I drank too many beers tonight LOL
