[Today at 09:05:49 PM] JonB: No front bumper basically

[Today at 09:11:08 PM] JonB: Chucking the rad support, and using electric fans will allow me to move the rad back also. I'll have to see where the steering box is at, but I can possibl also lean it as well

[Today at 09:11:51 PM] JonB: I suspect its better to lean a rad forward as opposed to backwards...

[Today at 09:12:11 PM] SchizophrenicMC: It is

[Today at 09:12:25 PM] SchizophrenicMC: You want airflow up and out

[Today at 09:12:49 PM] JonB: So I may end up with no lean

[Today at 09:12:53 PM] SchizophrenicMC: This reduces drag and lift

[Today at 09:14:34 PM] JonB: I have the vents for the fenders, but I'm not doing glass work for a while. All I have is no gasket at the top of the cowl. I'm not cutting my hood anywhere

[Today at 09:16:10 PM] JonB: I think no inner fenders will help let a lot of air out

[Today at 09:17:08 PM] JonB: The car will never be perfect in the regards of aero, but I'm not going that fast anyway

[Today at 09:17:30 PM] SchizophrenicMC: You could remove 1000lbs from that car and it'd still weigh as much as 6 tanks though

[Today at 09:17:52 PM] JonB: Possibly

[Today at 09:18:43 PM] JonB: Seems like there's about 300-400 pounds that's un explained

[Today at 09:19:02 PM] JonB: 100 lbs could be the ac

Everybody should listen to Jaster. He had lots of pics showing what he did... had to redesign the motor mounts, lots of custom wsork, and even now he's telling you don't do it. That's from a guy who HAS done it. So it's not just that the crossover pip won't fit, there's much more to it.

That's why the veterans who are playing with the SE S12 are trying different routes, like supercharging, remote mount and front mount turbo, etc.

Honestly, the remote mount I think is the way to go. MC gave me all his pics, and as soon as I get a chance to talk with him and ask some questions, I'm gonna write him a "how-to".

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch
