You can probably get one of the cone filter adapters that Autozone sells, and modify the holes a bit and it should bolt right on.  Usually the adapters are around 3".

The KA throttle bodies are usually 60mm.

I just call the tube an 'air intake tube'.  nothing special, really.

Where the air intake tube connects to the (in diagram) Airhole, I notice it needs an adapter, as it is a bit small. whats that piece called? The one I pulled off is cracked... or should the intake tube fit by itself?

Ok.

The big box part, is called the intake plenum.  Its part of the intake manifold, which is the assembly.

The throttle body is the part that bolts on to the front of the intake plenum, and has the plate inside of it that moves and lets in air when you press the gas pedal.

I'm confused on your question, so go ahead and ask it again, using those terms.  The rubber connector tubes are just that, they connect the rest of the intake piping (the metal stuff) together so there is flexibility for service and engine movement.

If you can take PHOTOS with a cellphone camera or digital camera, that would help. No offense intended, but your diagrams aren't all that clear, and those shapes could be anything.

*I think* you are talking about what is called a reducer, which is a rubber hoselike coupler that attaches one size of pipe to a different size... a sort of adapter. But I'm not sure, because I need to see pictures.

Just take a good picture or two, and use Microsoft Paint to add text and pointer lines to it.

Anyways about the air intake, it's usually the same size.

Lemme clear some things up, taking Sterling's direction and adding a bit more. From the beginning:

Stock:
Airbox (contains stock filter) ---> Mass Air Flow meter (MAF)---> stock intake pipe ---> stock rubber coupler ---> throttle body ---> intake manifold (plenum) ---> intake manifold (runners) ---> head ports

What I think you have:

Cone filter ---> MAF adapter for cone filter ---> MAF ---> some kind of aftermarket intake...? ---> hose coupler ---> throttle body... etc etc etc.

A picture really would be far more helpful.

ya you need a MAF adapter and a reducer coupler.  I would get a better intake pipe though cuz it shouldnt be smaller than the throttle body.  Kinda odd for on to be that small actually.  Just ebay a intake for a 240sx and be done with it, lol.

for the sake of cheapness and the application your doing you can get some rubber reducers at any hardware store. i have a expensive Samco reduce that im going to change out for a black rubber one.

The rubber hardware store ones are for plumbing, and they degrade rather quickly in the heat of the engine bay. I found out the hard way.
