well im going to have a custom aluminum rad made after i route all the turbo piping so the rad pipes will be custom too (probably just a flex pipe from crappy tire)

No I dont mean the rad hose I mean the pipe that comes out of the block its under the manifold at the front of the motor right above the alt the stock pipe wont fit with the ca20 manifold you need the ca20 pipe and it has to be new because its a press fit once its in its good but if you pull it out and try to put ir back in ( get your mind out of the gutter) it will no longer fit...

pakii-afa, you dont need a custom rad made,  im using a S13 DNA performance aluminum radiator with dual electric fans  on my s12 and it works great, just need to drill holes for the bottom mounts and shorten the rad hoses a little bit .. very easy install

no no i want the custom rad because i dont want to run excesive piping for fmic and i dont want to cut anything so im getting a 6 inch shorter rad (length) and i can run the piping right through to available space.

So new ca20 coolant hard pipes are apparently non-existant in the usa. Why can't a used pipe be cleaned up and resized/reflared.  Or could it be welded or brazed in place. Bet there are a bunch of good used ones out there. Mine was not that difficult to remove.

It's a press fit so it's a one time use kinda thing reflaring it may be an option

so turns out only the s chassis ca20 neck works (not 100 percent on that) but the stanza looks different, not surprising since it is trans-verse mounted etc. so if i still cant find a new one i will have to buy a used one and have someone weld it to the block

it is a good idea but i cant see nissan just throwing these away later on, most of there inventory is lost or abandoned but that was back in the day, they usually just leave it there. although buying all of them doesnt seem like a bad idea, that way if someone does need one they have practically instant access to it. im considering buying 2 but i dont plan to keep the ca forever so.

2)ca20e speedo cable as the 18et is too long wot is only half throttle with the 18et speedo cable

what do you mean by the speedo cable? isnt it suppose to go to tranny and speedometer.... or do you mean the throttle cable?  :s
