rofl omg thats too awesome!  i do love that.  bout a year ago i saw a 240 at the junkyard with 2, YES 2! holes in the side of the block.  it was a ka24e that somehow snapped #3 & #4 rods and punched both thru the iron block.  was awesome to behold

Shoulda offered em 20 bucks. clean it up, put a pane of glass on the top of it. Would've made a WICKED (Heavy) table.

yikes!!
originally quoted by baller status:
DONT: do intake, header, exhaust (you'll be disappointed) and then modify the fuel and ignition system (will get you nowhere at this point).
DO: raise compression (pistons) and upgrade the cam. Then do the things I told you not to.

tap tap...tap tap tap.
Hey, check this out:

rated for 800hp. these are customs for a qr.....(come on, its my fav engine as of late)
i bet the rods on a qr are quite close if not the same dimension as the ca20e.
wonder how the heads match up...hint hint.

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Do you have a part number?

By the looks I'd say the compression height is too short (distance from the centre of the pin to the top of the piston skirt), but nice try. Needs to be 30mm (1.181").
