For those of you who didnt read my thread about me picking up my kade notch....here is the story. Guy 6 hours away needs to sell his project....85 kade notch. I am like sweet...i need a car and 1k is a hell of a steal....but i dont have the cash right now...but i will when i go back to school and i need said car to get to school and back due to my 626 having gremlins....So he holds on to the car for me for like a month and a half. My mom, brother, his fiancee, and i go there, pick the car up, and i drive her home. She runs great all the way home...but there is a list of things that need to be hooked up and done to it...yay, i bought a project...least she runs...and is fast as hell. We make it into seattle and my wipers die as i am crossing lake washington in a monsoon....awesome. My brother and i spend 2 hours fixing the rods..they came apart. We got them back together but couldnt figure out if something was supposed to hold them together or not. We used one of his fiancee's hair ties...its been holding since! Anyways...here is a list of things I have fixed and a list of things I need to fix...and I will post pics later at the end.

I have fixed:

speedometer
tachometer

I need to fix/hook up:

Water Temp
Oil Pressure
Aftermarket seat with s13 seat rail install
Figure out why my brake warning light comes on when i use brakes
put lock on trunk
figure out rear rattles
install cd deck
aim headlights in

The car has:
cold air intake
no ps
my nismo shift knob
custom exhaust, cherry bomb into a muffler
msd coil
came with a turbo from a 2g eclipse...not installed
extra set of s13 wheels with studded tires
hockey puck rear sub frame bushings

I think thats it for now. I will post up some pics later...I am at a friends house...i just wired the tach up today. I have only brought the car up to 4500 and it pulls hard...the engine supposedly has low miles on it...it came out of a t boned s13 with hicas. I was also told it was compression checked and was clean all across...but i didnt see anything on paper...i just knew it drove smoothly and idled well....all good signs. I need to hook up the water temp and oil pressure tho before i beat on it to hard/to much.

In the pictures is that girl taking pictures of you while your taking pictures of the car? It seems like every picture she has the camera aimed at you

thats actually my mother...she dresses kind of younger sometimes then she is...she is like in her low 50s...

I have a paint scheme in mind actually; Gloss white with a gloss black hood/trunk lid. A friend of mine has all of the stuff to paint a car. I tried to offer him my 82 rx7 but his wife was all like...we dont need another car...blah blah blah. He wants a small rwd car tho...i can tell lol. Anyways, he just bought a sail boat for 700 bucks that needs a lot of work and he said he would paint the car for me if i help him with the boat...which takes up his whole effin shop...i still cant believe he bought a freakin sail boat. Other then paint, I want to get a turbo or se lip/skirt kit, and i want to try to put a roof wing on the car from a celica/supra. Other then that I am thinking wheels/tires and suspension...prolly convert the front to s13. I want to dd the car and autox it. I am going to end up building the hatch up as a drift/track slut. Its going to be slow going tho, i am a broke ass with school and i keep finding things on the notch that need to be fixed.

pulled the back drivers side brake caliper off the hatch today and put it on the notch...noise seems to have gone down...but the brake indicator light still comes on...i think the bmc is bad...whatever, it still stops right now...i will replace it later. Also...my exhaust rubs on my subframe...blah.

one of my friends keeps saying that he is going to be her 7th husband...it really creeps me out...but then again i have told one of my friends before that he had a hot mom...so i guess i deserve it...

so...i have been trying to spend like at least one day a week fixing things on the notch...

1st week i fixed the tach and the speedo
2nd week i had a leak in my fuel tank so i had to fix that...
3rd week i grabbed the rear drivers side brake caliper out of the hatch and swapped them.

now for what i have planned for the next couple of weeks...
4th week i am going to wire up the water temp
5th week i am going to install my e brake cables
6th week install cd deck (normally this is higher on my build lists, but i am enjoying the kade soundtrack)
7th week relocate/mount push button start (it is just hanging by the ignition)
8th week clean up engine bay

i am not sure about after week 5...i will update if need be. Also, I am probably going to be getting a macbook air from my moms bf...but i need to swap a bunch of music over to his new macbook and put a new hard drive in the old macbook so i can use it...that will prolly take a good portion of a weekend...but i am going to use the mba for editing up some sweet autox vids this upcoming autox season...and i will also use the mba for surfing the web and music purposes...my dell is kind of old and tired...so i am just going to use it or my desktop for school and what not...

edited to update the list...i may change weeks up depending on weather and mood obviously...

lol....yes! I need to clean off the valve cover...i think craig and his friend coated it with oil/grease while putting the engine in the car. I also need to get some wire wrap to wrap the harness from where it was extended to reach the plugs under the maf...i have glovebox ecu...so my harness was ran thru the passenger side.
