I have s13 calipers in the front, they were a bolt-on fit on my s12, just had to cut a little of the brake-"shield" but then the caliper fits perfect. Its the rear brakes that troubles me :s

Post Merge: 11:15:44 AM / 04-Apr-11
New calipers to the rear brakes ordered... Cost as much as I paid for the whole car...

The new calipers are now installed and everything seems to be working, didn´t try to adjust the handbrake yet tho... Drove the car för the first time on the street today :) but when I came back to the garage i saw it was leaking fuel at a fuelpipe... Seems to be the same on my s13 so I´ll fix that tomorrow and hope to post some new pics!

Well lookie here! A new update...

Its now wintertime in sweden so the car sits in my garage waiting for some well-earned new parts!

Here some pics from this summer and the state the car was in then:

Used it as a daily thru the whole summer and autumn and it worked like a charm!

But now for the updates...

The first thing i did after putting it in the garage i build a new shifter, I have had this idea for many years now but havnt done it until now... A "katana" shifter made from a replica samurai-sword:

I think it turned out really good  :tongue2:

Then i got this long chromed exhaust-pipe that im gonna use, I will put it on there so that the whole pipe is visible; "bosozuko" style  :wideeyed2:

Next thing i got was the full bushings-kit from the z store:

And the most recent stuff i bought was new wheels and lug nuts:

XXR 002 16x8" ET0

Ordered new toyo tires too that i hope will arrive this week.

Got my tires today, mounted them to the rims and it turned up great! Just the perfect amount of stretch for my taste. In the rear the fitment is 100% but in the front the wheels poke a bit, but im gonna fix that with a little camber

I keep my car cleaner then my room
Fuck you then, I'll take my movies, box of chocolates, bottle of wine and chloroform somewhere else.
Adding an SSD to that is kinda like strapping a 3 inch stainless HKS exhaust on a geo metro.

Small update: Im currently replacing all the bushings and wow is it frustrating... Bolts and nuts that has not been touched in 20+ years is no good, some of them break and some of them just wont budge. The worst thing is when the bolt get stuck inside the metal casings in the old bushings that i need for my new ones, maybe I´ll have to make new casings... I have also fixed some of the rust on the car, the little panel in the back that sits under the taillights was RUSTY and nearly broke into two pieces when i tried to take it off but now its welded and looks much better. Pics will arrive soon...

Very nice work Takumi! Please keep us updated. I love those wheels. Are the fronts and rear the same size?

Yeah your camber situation will basically be like mine is right now... I'm running about 2 degrees neg. in the front, maybe a bit more... and they tuck a bit more. It's interesting tho... you have 8" et0 wheels and I have 7" et0 wheels but we stick out the same because I have Z31 front suspension and it pushes me out another half inch or so. So our fitment is presently identical lol

Lookin' good! I like the style of wheel you went with, and the tire width is what I run in the front also. But I run 205's in the back and our cars are lowered about the same right now... you should consider running the fatter tire and getting a bit more grip in the rear 205's are square on my 7" wheel, so I imagine on your 8" it will still have a tiny bit of stretch and visually match what you got going on up front ;) Not that 195 in the rear is horrible, it isn't.

I like this car :D

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch
