[11:59:27 PM / 18-May-13 ] StephenG: Yeah, I was just trying to bait Schizo lol

[11:59:41 PM / 18-May-13 ] StephenG: Only thing wrong with miatas is they are kinda ugly and too small

[11:59:59 PM / 18-May-13 ] JonB: True - ugly and small

[Today at 12:00:13 AM] StephenG: S2000 is so much nicer

[Today at 12:00:23 AM] JonB: Its by no means ideal, but the pickings are so slim

[Today at 12:00:59 AM] JonB: S2000 is to expensive, and worse than the miata in social status

[Today at 12:01:51 AM] JonB: Its why I don't like verts all together

[Today at 12:02:02 AM] Wonderingraven: lol s2000

[Today at 12:02:43 AM] JonB: Looking for; maximum performance engineering, minimum social status

[Today at 12:03:26 AM] JonB: Car should look clearly blue collar

[Today at 12:03:42 AM] Wonderingraven: blue collar?

[Today at 12:04:18 AM] JonB: Yea, like snubbed at the country club. Unlike s2000s and bmws

[Today at 12:04:50 AM] Wonderingraven: ah, like an 510

[Today at 12:05:12 AM] JonB: Yes, like 510.

No I mean literally I am running with Z31 four-lug suspension... Z31 strut tubes, Z31 knuckle, Z31 hub. The Z31 strut tube is offset and puts things a bit more outward, and the Z31 hub also sticks out a bit more.

When I switch to S13 conversion in the front, I will be able to get rid of most of my negative camber which will be good for tire life. Nobody needs more than 1.5 degrees in the front.

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

Yeah your camber situation will basically be like mine is right now... I'm running about 2 degrees neg. in the front, maybe a bit more... and they tuck a bit more. It's interesting tho... you have 8" et0 wheels and I have 7" et0 wheels but we stick out the same because I have Z31 front suspension and it pushes me out another half inch or so. So our fitment is presently identical lol

Lookin' good! I like the style of wheel you went with, and the tire width is what I run in the front also. But I run 205's in the back and our cars are lowered about the same right now... you should consider running the fatter tire and getting a bit more grip in the rear 205's are square on my 7" wheel, so I imagine on your 8" it will still have a tiny bit of stretch and visually match what you got going on up front ;) Not that 195 in the rear is horrible, it isn't.

I like this car :D

Thanks man!

I like the camber tho :) Everyone seems to wanna get rid of it but I love it haha. I chose the 195s because of the little stretch which allows me to lower the car even more. When i get my hands on some coilovers this car will slammed :D This car will be more of a "looker" than a racing/driftcar.

I don't want to get rid of ALL my camber... *some* neg. camber is good for turning. But anything more than 1.5 is unnecessary and is just for looks (if that's the look you want).

Either way take plenty of pics when you're done! :)

The coilovers are now installed, in the front I can lower the car as much as I want and more... In the rear however... What can I say? Epic fail...

This is MAX LOW on both the spring and the shock: 16x8" 195/45:

Then I put my old cut springs on the car together with the new shock and achieved the right amount of LOW:

I know that its not ideal in any way using the old springs... But it will have to do for now, this is a weekend cruiser so...

This is how it looks in the front now, think I´ll lower it some more tho...

I am a much bigger fan of function over form but ride height wise it does look pretty sweet. Kinda surprised you wanna lower the front more, looks pretty low already.

My car looks dope ive been told this a billion times on local forums....

Thats why i prefer women who are below driveing age.

Ya we are all different :) I´ll probably low the front 1cm more or so, maybe 1cm more in the rear to... I dont think there will be any problems driving this car, probably wont be the most comfortable ride... But I have a Lexus for that purpose :)

The car is out of the garage for the first time in months! Gave it a quick wash today:

Im very happy with the way it looks! It looks like the paint is really pale but its the cameras fault... I´ll post better pics as soon as I can.

A little too much pork in the front for my taste, but looking real good nonetheless!
I can't decide wether I like it with or without the wing though..

Your car looks good right now. You go any lower and the God of Good Taste will open up a 20-meter crack in the earth and swallow you whole lol

Unless you're trying to go boso like this...

Then the God of Good Taste might just slap ya in the back of the head and giggle a bit :P

Really tho your car as it sits now is great, one of the better looking cars on our forum

Haha dont worry, the car will not be much lower than now. I´ll just adjust it so its the same in the front as it is in the rear. I will however put some type of bosozoku-pipe on it. I LOVE boso but i´m not cool enough to go all out on it haha, I guess it will be more of a "Shakotan" look on this car.

And thanks for the last comment, it means a lot! :)

i look at what you have done to your car and wonder why people undervalue these cars. i  really like the clean look you have going. no wing, no tint and i think you nailed the ride height. a really great looking car
