frankenswap ideas?

Okay, so i love the fuel sipping 8 plug ca20 that my 200sx is running now, but i want something with some teeth!

I work at a huge auto recycler, and thus have a whole warehouse full of different powerplants from everything imaginable! (Spent my lunch looking at a hemi V8.. but i wanna stick with japanese mill)

Now, this is NOT my first swap (sr into 240, Rb into 240, 1Jz into sc400..), and it wouldn't be my first custom project either..

Come spring, when my motorcycle gets out of the garage.. lil beasty will pretty much just chill in the driveway.. so i'm willing to spend some time and do this right..

So here's my question: What engine would you swap in? My only requirements are it has to be a manual, and it has to be available in a north american car. (otherwise i have to pay retail)

I was thinking supercharged Xterra engine (VG33ER), I dunno.. something different..

Worst case scenario i will end up dumping a ka into it.. but i'm open to suggestions.

buick v6 3800-SII (L32 N/A or S/C L6x) from the f-body or GPX (FWD version can be easily converted to RWD)  Be unique, off the wall, engine parts are common to come by and ODB2 ready.
even tho the motorset will be about as much as an CA18DET / RB20DET swap. lol But it's a frakenswap!
