Any ideas on Mountng a E-Fan?
« on: 01:15:14 PM / 12-Oct-11 »
Recently switched to a E-Fan and i really do love it. But my question is, how can i mount this bad boy? As of right now i just used some rope to tie it down. I have no other clue on how to mount it.

Go to the hardware store, buy some bar stock, take some measurements, fab some brackets.  If you use existing locations you may need to get longer bolts to accomodate the additional bracket.  If you find yourself up in the metro area I might be able to lend a hand.

I was afraid all the five gallon buckets of pain stacked four high were going to fall over

Ya i will take one when i get home. It was one I pulled from the junkyard.  had to cut off some sections on the one side to make it fit but it works.

^ Forgot to take a picture, but i went to autozone, and found some Stainless Steel Exhaust ties. Says they can stand 2500 Degree temperature and 150lb Tensil strength. Thought these would do the work so i bought a pack of four
