ECU Code 21 -MSD Blaster SS Installed-Delete Post

Anybody have any experience with code 21. I installed a MSD Blaster SS coil and ran codes and got the code 21. I was reading the install manual (MSD) and they say to install a .8 ohm resistor in series with the positive coil wire, if the ignition is not current limiting type. I didn't install the resistor. I haven't tried to reinstall the original coil again and recheck for codes. I didn't check code prior to install either.  I think this will be the next test. However in the mean time has anyone else experienced  this code with the MSD Blaster install?

Installed on a 1987 S12, VG30E.

a code 21 comes up with anything with the ignition system isn't working 100%, anywhere from the power transistor, to the spark plugs.

I recently installed an MSD ignition set up in my car and had a code 21 until I install the MSD tach adaptor.
