[Today at 09:29:43 PM] SchizophrenicMC: Fuck me

[Today at 09:29:59 PM] SchizophrenicMC: With some doing, even the Jeep can be made to drop below 3k

[Today at 09:30:38 PM] JonB: I got aluminum heads, intake, headers, and a tilt on starter, but that's about all I can do for making the v8 lighter itself

[Today at 09:30:54 PM] SchizophrenicMC: Like, a stock 2WD Grand Cherokee Laredo weighed 3500

[Today at 09:31:10 PM] SchizophrenicMC: That's with automatic and the interior all intact, a/c and all

[Today at 09:31:21 PM] JonB: Also 13 lbs flywheel, but added 25lbs to the trans for another gear

[Today at 09:32:28 PM] JonB: The firebirds weigh about 3700, the camaros with their smaller chevy motor weigh about 3500

[Today at 09:32:28 PM] SchizophrenicMC: Use the aluminum housing axle, swap to manual trans, some lighter wheels, and no spare tire, and you'd probably be right at 3k in the Grand

[Today at 09:33:23 PM] JonB: So I'm basically looking to loose 700lbs

[Today at 09:33:45 PM] SchizophrenicMC: Actually, thinking about it, Grand Cherokees are surprisingly light

[Today at 09:34:03 PM] SchizophrenicMC: Like, for its considerable size, my Jeep's right over 4k lbs

[Today at 09:34:12 PM] SchizophrenicMC: And it's 4x4

[Today at 09:35:05 PM] SchizophrenicMC: Gonna watch some more Eureka SeveN now. I'm addicted.

[Today at 09:35:17 PM] JonB: Ok later

I've got z31 headers on my motor, you have to cut and reweld a pipe on the driver side, it doesn't clear the steering linkage.

There is your answer. If you don't have the ability to weld, no. There is a guy ojn here called Mr. 510 who makes ones that are supposedly made to fit a VG30E in our cars (I think he markets them as "Experimental Engineering")... search around, there is a thread about them on here somewhere.

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch
