Front fender removal
« on: 06:47:29 AM / 30-Apr-12 »
Hey, I am going to do some bondoing work soon. Both my fenders are pretty ugly right now. My LH front fender in particular is bent to where it doesn't fit on the car right. I figure I'm going to need to remove that panel at least. Can anyone give me a quick walk through of what I'm going to need to do that?

You're in WA, wouldn't it be cheap and easy to just get replacement fenders from a junkyard?

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch

I'm going to do a little bit of bondoing in a bunch of places and I don't have money for the paint and all that plus a new pair of fenders right now. So I'm going to attempt a repair first. It's not too bad, its just bent out of place. There is no rust or giant ripples.

I noticed my head light is actually crooked which is why is doesn't match up with the fender. The turn signal is wrong too). I'm hoping I can just unscrew and adjust them. I'll have to look at that tomorrow.

I was actually able to straighten in out pretty good without removing it. I still need to adjust where the headlight and turn signal line up, but other then that I should be ready to fill, sand, and paint.
