I traded a lancer with clogged egr and clogged cat, shitty intake and half ass exhaust with $900 of body damage for mine hah
I sold a wrecked RX7 with a bad throwout bearing and 145k on the clock, for the same amount as I bought it, prior to wrecking it.

I sold a Pathfinder for more than I got it for, after I wrecked it.

Not gonna see what I can do with this Jeep.

I won't spend more than $500 on an S12, even SE... If I'm spending 2k, you all know exactly what I'd rather spend it on.

I paid $200 for mine and drove it home.

my thoughts exactly.

this very interesting.... when i started looking at this forum for someone to consider looking at a S12 any model for 2k was crazy. now we have people willing to pay 2k for one that is not even running...  times sure have changed

Everybody got here right when it was the time to buy the car, I think I paid 1200 for my running SE.  The fact is, those prices are extremely low for the old Corollas nowadays and I honestly think the s12 SE is a much rarer car to find.
Special thanks to Special Vehicle Services in El Paso TX.  Check out http://www.txsvs.com/ for more innovative builds or stop on by and ask them a few questions.

that is a very true statement. to find a unmolested corolla is even harder.  the real problem is most members on this forum have only driven wore out s12's cars that have had a long rough life. i have two SE's right now that i feel may be two of the best stock examples of a s12 on this forum and when i let people drive them they walk away impressed. the first thing it seems like everyone wants to do is change these cars into something they are not and wont be. dont get me wrong there are a lot of great modified s12's on this forum. i just wish that more members could drive a good example of one unmolested

I've found 1 SE local to me (Cutter now owns it). I don't even know how many old rollas I've seen. Most of them are coupes and/or molested, and most are originally SR5s, but that's the Takumi Tax game.

If I had an IRS car I pretty much would. Suspension wise anyway.

But I have an SRA car...

$2500 for an SE? I bought mine for $680 +$200 to replace the windshield. Basically the same spec as this one, except mine has 120K, runs amazing and has two cams on it, so It's probably a bit faster even if the posted one was running. It has some bent body panels here and there but whatever, waaay less then half that and I drove it home, and every day now. Seriously, save yourself the money and headache and do some work yourself.

I have an extremely good example of a stock SE.  Having bought mine from the original owner who had all work done by Nissan.  I have done some tasteful mods that have not taken away from it's original beauty.

Of course it has two cams.  It's a v6.  It's not like that old ford junk with a pushrod set up.  I also paid $3,000 for mine, and flew half way across the States to get it.  You'll have to check it out sometime.

BoostedVG (in regards to people hating on the VG) - Me thinks they were not the mechanic they thought and blamed it all on the engine.

Colonol Gustard - youre one of the few people that represent the s12 chassis like a boss!

Yeah, they drive great. I looked for a cheap car for almost half a year. (I was sharing the Sleep with my fiance, so no rush) drove my SE and instantly knew it was for me.

Oh, I meant dual cams. Two and two. I need to look into it more. It's not a stock VG30E that's for sure.
