Fender flares?
« on: 11:26:00 PM / 27-Jun-12 »
I am looking to go with fender flares because of some minor rust I grinded out. I have been looking at the universal flares on eBay and they seem ok but would like your input on what I should get at a fair price. I already tried making them my self and have no luck.

I used zg flares but they are a lot longer than our body lines. You can get them from motorsports auto. David b suggested using ae86 ones but I never tried those I'm just going to fiberglass the zg ones

Yeah the ZG ones can be made to work with our cars, it's been done. Have to do a bit of trimming but otherwise that's it. The AE86 ones will be too small.

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch

Can someone post a couple photos of the ZG mocked up before trimming so we may understand better what needs to be done.
