Are the Miata turbine housings the standard Garrett spec or an OEM-specific one? I ask because I know Mitsubishi uses T25's but with a special Mitsu exhaust turbine housing.

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch

I don't know. He's done some much to that engine. He said he just finished installing all the piping for a turbo. I'm assuming he wants a T25 for a reason considering he never owned a Nissan, Mitshy, or anything. Does Mazda use T25's? It's a first gen Miata, I'm almost positive there isn't a OEM turbo setup for it at all.

No Mazda uses KKK's I believe, they have octogonal exhaust inlets in the turbine housing side... it's weird. BUT... since this is a 1G Miata with some kind of (presumably) aftermarket manifold, it's probably a standard T2-style flange.

He'd do best with a T25G rather than just a T25. Yes, there is a difference. If you're looking in the Nissan world of things, the T25 came on the CA18DET, and the T25G came on the first and second generation SR20DET's. It also came on Z32 but I am not certain it uses a standard T2-style flange.

I actually have a T25G but of course I refuse to part with it because it was rebuilt and the center section is rock solid good.

Yeah, if he is going to bother with it at all, go for the t25g. As well, if he is mechanically inclined, he can do a rebuild on one yourself for less than $100. Something to consider if he wants to pick up a cheap one that needs work.

Yeah, he is. He says thanks for the suggestion BTW. I'm assuming he will probably look into a t25g.

Okay! I'll let him know ASAP. Sounds like he's gotten it driving it now. I dunno if that means he's got a turbo or not. He may still want yours over what's in there in any case.
