Title: 1884 200x Ca18et Sr20det Swap

we got the car to fire but not runing,the fuel injectors wont open,we here them a clicken but no sprayen.we swaped the fuel lines so the return ilne is next to the fuel pressure reg. removed the fuel rail and cps manualy turn the cam position senser{aka,dist} injectors click but no drip .where should we look THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO {PICS WILL BE COMING} THE CAR IS 350 MILES AWAY FROM ME
P.S. can spray fuel thru the throttlebody and she runs strong just no injector help

wha? if there clicking there working...

are you sure you have fuel pressure?. pressure regulator is on the return side i didnt really understand what you said about those.

yes it has aprox 60psi. on the fuel lines we thought we had them backwards so the fuel return line is conected to the fuel rail where the fuel pressure reg is. car runs with fuel being sprayed thur throttlebody

IF they are clicking. and you have the regulator on the pressure side. But still no spray, You have a clog somewhere.

Check of they're spraying again... Pull off the rail, crank it, and look for mist

Wholy Hell 1884? those must be some sick hickorywood rims...they might be a whole 2 inches wide ...

ok hello this is the guy with the car.

this is everthing i have checked so far.

timing 100% perfect, fuel pressure 60 psi, fuel line in correctly, there is spark, i have pulled off the fuel rail and tried to crank it over and there was no fuel coming out of the injectors, next step is checking for clogs i should repost in 15min

my car running is a beautiful thing!    too bad it was just fuel from the rail falling into the #1 cylinder.


so i pulled off all 4 injectors and all the filters were clean and there was fuel in the rail.  

whats the next step??

I would start by renting a noid light kit from your local parts store to check to see if your computer is sending adiquate signal to the injector its self.

yes i have checked the volts to the injectors and they are a constant 12v.  and the ground seems to turn on just fine when i spin the CAS by hand. so they should be working.

I'm no expert but if the car had been sitting for a while it's possible there was bad gas and or contaminates in the tank.  I think either draining your tank, CONFIRMING you don't have a clogged line, or making sure you have injectors that don't have any obstructions or all of these could be the problem.

Not much help but I hope you get her running soon!

you know this bring backs memorys of my old Ca18. it would fire them all if i turned the CAS by hand, but would never pulse the injectors. it would batch fire them when it got the start signal put would never go into sequential mode. i ended up replace the ecu and it fixed it. not sayin its going to fix your problem, so i would start with a noid light check

so i feel like realy dumb. I guees if you have the start signal hooked up and the ecu grounded at the white plug every thing works. car started right up after the second compression stroke wil post pics soon! thanks again MARK AND SONS
