lol, thanks. 240 dollars in shipping. I cant wait till they are on the car as well, gonna be a sexy party!

My grandfather had 3 caprices as i was growing up, i bought it thinking i would fix up his last one but i never had the chance. I like them, they are nice comfy and we never had a problem with them.

yeah i have a small collection. I also have one for my 98 cherokee sport, moms boyfriends little mazda pickup and a brigs and straton manual.
Good reading, have a few Nascar books and ton of car tuner, truck and off road mags, also a few mountain bike mags. Always find little stupid things that help get shit done

Cleaned up my rims and tires. First removed dirt with Windex multi-surface, then used some tire shine and went over the rims again with bug and tar remover.

Going to make a custom faceplate. waiting to get one to mod it, but here is a rough draft of the original. Cant stand the piece of ugly azz wood thats screwed in there right now, i want to burn it!

Ok, so i Have started looking at doing small upgrades and "USING THE SEARCH" like i should and found a few little things that i can do to get a little more out of my silly ca20.
Most likly pic up a MSD Blaster coil not sure yet, but i want to hahaha. I priced a ring kit and a gasket kit, comes out to be about 167 after tax.

Plans for today are to sand and paint my new calipers. Have to run across the road to rona and see if they have high temp spray paint and a wrench for doing brake lines, dont want to strip stuff.
If i get time and a ride i will put the new rims on my car today!

Post Merge: [time]03:31:03 AM / 04-Jan-11 [/time]
Started on the brakes today. thought i would start of with the left caliper, i was told that i was seized. Well i got it out with some effort required
(http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/7442/img2985vt.jpg) (http://img202.imageshack.us/i/img2985vt.jpg/)
(http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/1411/img2987u.jpg) (http://img513.imageshack.us/i/img2987u.jpg/)
I had to raise the boot and spray in a bunch of WD40 and let it sit for 10mins, then i turned out counter clock wise and it eventually came out. The reason it had locked up was a ripped piston boot
Looked like someone had an accident in here
(http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/1444/img2995d.jpg) (http://img232.imageshack.us/i/img2995d.jpg/)

I could sand this down... but i think i will just go ahead and salvage another piston and boot from the calipers on my car.
(http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/3169/img3002l.jpg) (http://img812.imageshack.us/i/img3002l.jpg/)

Experiment. Its 12 dollars a can, and it has no special temperatures to be painted in, dries in 15 minutes
(http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/3855/img3032y.jpg) (http://img683.imageshack.us/i/img3032y.jpg/)

And looks pretty damn good
(http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/3527/img3033ra.jpg) (http://img23.imageshack.us/i/img3033ra.jpg/)
(http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/4033/img3034u.jpg) (http://img822.imageshack.us/i/img3034u.jpg/)
(http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/7021/img3027d.jpg) (http://img194.imageshack.us/i/img3027d.jpg/)

I then went and sprayed it with red VHT Caliper paint. Did a little mock up while i waited on the second coat to dray a little.
Going to let them cure over night and might need a touch up or to tomorrow. 1 for sure needs another coat tho

Today i replaced my left bumper signal, Fixed passenger door sliding hinge, New deck installed. I then immediately christened my deck by blasting the hamster dance . Was pretty funny to see my nammer friends father looking at me like wtf while he tended to his giant cage of chickens and other pheasants. I then blasted some tragically hip,Collective soul and drained my battery hahahaha.

While wiring the stereo the car took me for me for a loop... after figuring out the wiring, i started to disconnect the wires to make proper connections. I had unplugged my front speakers but there was still sound coming out from somewhere, I then found out i have tweeters lol. Anyone guess where my tweeters are? It made me laugh pretty hard.

Ill post pic some time tomorrow i am dead tired and am going jeep shopping tomorrow morning.

Also got some good news tonight, My best friend called the house looking for me and started talking with my mother. She told him that her and her bf are going to put insurance on the truck and let me park my car in the garage! but they never told me this....  :yay!: no more half hour bike ride to see my car, solid concrete to jack up my car instead of letting it sit on grass!, Weather friendly and i can bring home my 8G compressor to piss of my loud neighbors with something other then house music. This also means i will probably try finding a new motor to drop in, still trying for a 18DET. Me and my best friend had wanted to put that in his 86 turbo before he blew it up and gave it to the tow company.

new left signal looks good, now i need to clean the other one. Once my car is home i am going to clean and polish it after letting it sit like this. oh, and i also have new clears to pick up and install.
(http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/8172/img3122n.jpg) (http://img146.imageshack.us/i/img3122n.jpg/)

So as for the tweeters i found, they are mounted in my dash vents...  i had my front speakers disconnected and there was still noise coming from the front. First thought that ran through my head was that there is a short and i need to run all new wires, but when i traced the wires i was relieved.

The New deck sounds and looks damn good. was my first time wiring a deck so i think i did alright. only problem was trying to find out what wires i should connect to for power. The Red/green wire shows that it goes to the battery in the shop manual, but i am not sure what to tie into for the accessory power, any input would be great! as for now i have the accessory wire hooked up to the Red/green wire and the battery power wire hooked up to a sub cable from the PO. I know that i should go at it with  my DMM but i did not have it with me

Haha man i personally would think that wood would get annoying. but, if i were you, i would keep it. It would keep you from having to buy and install a metro Template. just get one of those covers with the ash tray, and cut out the slots. You would only see the color around the radio, and in that case, you can paint it! haha

Glad the markers made it your way and are to your satisfaction.  They do give the 12 a face lift and look a heaps better than the clear/amber ones.  Btw, I dig the rims - good styling choice. ;)

I was thinking about making some type of fabric wrap for it, I have 2 dash pieces coming, I plan on trying to mod one to look good but almost stock.

Thanks again colin they look great and were nicely paced in bubble wrap for safety. also cant wait to put on my rims and brakes to see the full outcome

Ok i need some input you guys. I dono what to do, I found a ca18det with a bunch of goodies, well more like he found me. I was told to take the car for $2500 about a month or 2 ago. I was just told that he will part the car an for me to make an offer..its motor, tranny, ecu, harness, New coils and drop resistor, s14 t28 turbo, tubular manifold, Megan sr20Det 02 housing, intake with bov return, synapse BOV, HKS mushroom filter, FMIC. He also has a blitz spec-r boost controller that he will part with for $400.

I really don't want to low ball him, but i only have under 2g. But hell do i want that motor.

What do you guys think i should offer. he is local and i can pick up the motor, I would even help pull everything if it would bring the cost down any hahahaha. The car is another 200sx so it is already good to drop in

Post by: Draconis on 03:18:48 AM / 13-Jan-11
Offer what you can.  I mean, yeah you dont want to low ball him but at the same time you cannot really afford too much more.  So I would be straight with him, tell him your position, your plans, and maybe he'll look at is as worth giving it away cheaper than normal because he likes what you are gonna do and genuinely wants to help you out.

yeah. thats what i am hoping for. Told him 1400 for all of it and ill help you take it out, and maybe give him back my ca20e, for a little bit off the payment, to put back in his car so that he can sell it instead of sending another 200 to its death

Well think about it. He was originally offering 2500 for the whole car right? with the Motor and Tranny, offer maybe 1500, and raise up. Dont ever offer what you originally wanted it for, because if you raise the price maybe from 1500 to 1600, it seems a little sweeter to the dealer. Just My Opinion :P

I also just found a KA24DE for $200. Poster said that it was a Nissan motor so i E-mailed them and they said it came out of a 97 altima. "took out because tranny went. have computer unit and new parts."

So that could be another route... still want an 18DET

altima ka is no go, unless you have an s13 or s14 head and manifold laying around, and then the s13 trans won't bolt up to it.
needless to say. If you don't want to make a fwd s12, don't get the altima KA

All done with Dupli-color Vinyl and Fabric spray, still have 3 cans left for the interior. Also going to try it out on a car seat a the junk yard to see how well it stays on before i hurt my beaten seats. Trying to think of a color to put the seats, I might be going with a blue interior if it will fit.... Oh and i scored a free hoist today!

Also forgot to mention that i am getting a new turbo, piping, bov, industrial oil lines, Mega Squirt and maybe a FMIC for 700, I love my friends :). Offer on the Ca18DET fell through, too much money for me right now, I can build a motor for less money and be a little happier i built it and it has new parts. I like the other motor but....well to many factors (alot going on for me right now).

Yeah its an hour and a half drive but it is worth it. The only problem is that i wish it was a MK1 like my car. as now i am experimenting with what parts are the same. A lot of online research with the parts numbers. Yeah she is pretty awesome. Thanks for the tip, I dont know how i am going to mount it as i dont want to drill holes just yet but we will just have to wait and see once it is in my garage.

Going to grab 2 Blaster Coils today for the car, a tps for my jeep and some parts for my mothers Bf's sentra. Not liking the thought of working in sleet/rain. but wtf, stuff needs to be done.
Oh and guess what,  I got a free hoist from my shop teacher yesterday, well I just got a free hoist from my friend jimmy..i scene it in the back if his Kie truck yesterday when i was working on my car at his house.. wtf, now i need an engine stand hahahaha

To Find this....

(http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/1654/brokenpowerwire.jpg) (http://img43.imageshack.us/i/brokenpowerwire.jpg/)

I didnt have a new connector, I was soaking wet (truck hit a foot deep puddle beside me and i was hit with a huge wave that almost threw me off my bike) so i just ended my day.

I think that the broken wire might have been part of my problem with the slight miss and a little bit rich, Still going to do a ring and gasket kit. Just to keep this thing strong till i get a new motor built and ready to install
also going to do the coil mod. Just to see for myself if i see a diff.

Finished dyeing the other half of my carpet, fell asleep in my car for 3 hours, then installed my passenger seat, Uninstalled it due to a loose rail bolt, re-installed it to find out the wire to the arm that allows you to move the seat came off. Did not feel like taking the seat back out so i just cursed at it for about 10 mins reaching under the seat and finally got it.

Was too dark to snap better pics. I have the next 6 days off so i hope it gets nice out, Ill get my interior back together... Until i try to fit in the Mk2 blue interior.

Was suppose to come back last friday but the weather in the mountain pass's are not great and she does not like to drive in the snow, Im still training her to get over her fear :) I think they are coming down Thursday.

And i was going to go to Vagas this week... My mom and her bf never booked me a flight thinking that i had school. fml :(

Ok, im back and feeling like crap, I dont know why but i have dropped 29 pounds over the last month or so. I was only 158, i am 5'9" and now 129 pounds.... I found a ca18DE pulsar today. That car is CLEAN, just fucked up door handles and smashed tail lights, Going to turn the motor over by hand tomorrow, check the compression and how smooth it is. check the tranny even tho i dont want it, i get it on the motor with all the goods attached for $350 :) Planning on rebuilding the motor, i can sell the trans locally and make a few bucks back to put into my rebuild.

The C tranny out of the 200 at pick a part is gone T_T, forgot to check for Colonel Gustards light, you have a pm btw..

My list is growing, for parts to get for friends lol. I get a free motor stand and a lunch or 2 if i get an injector and some exhaust pieces for my friend with the Supra celica hahaha, I am going to get his dad to maybe make me a new harness after i connect everything and make the motor run in my car, He is a heavy duty crane mechanic/electrician at a shipping port so he is good with this stuff.

Going to be busy for the next few days.

         Money spent,
Bought a new high cold cranking Eliminator battery (Comes with a 9 year warranty) for my jeep $114, putting the still new battery that was in the jeep in my 200. Also pulling the trucks optima battery out of moms bf's Sentra SE-R and putting it back where it belongs, as i got another Eliminator battery for it $109. Bought a Rad for my jeep $155, it had a nice hole, Also got oil, anti-freeze. New dress pants and shoes for Sundays funeral.

         Work to do...
Install Rad on jeep, Swap 4 batteries, Brakes/fluid change on the truck along with insurance and the truck is out of the garage. Tiddy up the garage and make a few trips to the dump, buy new shelfs to :)

That means my car will be in "My Garage"! Need to finish installing interior, crimp a wire to install my other blaster coil, adjust timing, check rusted brakes, insurance, Go drive it hard for a few hours then put it in my garage, Then start stripping out unwanted crap and doing alot of good TLC repairs. Maybe swap in CA18DET before golden gardens meet. Tackle old suspension components.

Also found a CA18DET Swap without the tranny. Going to see if i can get it for cheeper as its incomplete. Wish me luck! (or i will find you) ;)
*I have my eye on something VERY Interesting* If it works this will be the first forum to hear ;)

Also need to finish removing fmic/custom turbo manifold and piping from the Caviler, install stock parts, fluid change then its sold.
Buy/install new downhill derailer on my bike. It went to meet my spokes but got up in their face, It brutally lost the fight and made the awfullest noise  :rip:

Need to clean up my room and the rest of the house, We are going to try telus's new HD TV, We get free boxes lol. People are coming to install stuff soon and there are some people coming over on sunday, Think its the super bowl. To bad i have other plans.....

Buying a welder soon, I want to get an ark but everyone is hollering at me for not wanting a mig. I want to fab stuff, but i could use the mig for a little bit of body work, Any inputs would be helpful. I am alright with both of them, I use ark in the oil patch building natural gas stations and a mig at my old schools metal shop making various items for the auto shop teacher and my metal teachers.

Timing-Check, Interior-done except for glove box latch, Lights-Fixed. Running quite strong, has a miss and is throwing 4 codes but it has power :)
Getting Load signal, start signal, Idle switch and neutral switch. Also watched an injector crack yesterday. Need to install new brakes and rims. Car is road worthy and i cleaned it today.

Hahaha I look for one ;)

On other news. Just bought a single injector. I think cylinder one injector was shot long before it cracked. I Chased all my vacuum lines by ear, by misting and hosing down my motor. I unplugged the injector on cylinder one and there was no change to my motor. I unplugged # 4 and it was almost dieing. Unplug 2 or 3 and the rpms just drop. Going to try to get my rims on tonight and check the brakes:)

On other news I found what I believe to be the only pic of my favorite childhood car. My dads olds 442. I use to take for sale signs out of the window after school and tell him he is not selling that car on me.

^Sorry about the crappy pic quality but its a photocopy of the pic. and no thats not a crack in the fender, Just crap stuck to the pic that would not come off. Had a T-bar roof, no rust anywhere on the car, motor was strong and painted nicely. won many car shows with it.

MY CAR! ITS FIXED!!!. Redid timing, got pissed off took out the new injector after confirming everything else was working. The new injector was stuck closed, i had pushed on the little piece in the hole and it clicked. I reinstalled it and the car runs damn near perfect! Checked my compression again, now it has been timed right, Cy1 170 Cy2 174ish Cy3 179 Cy4 179. Blowing a bit of smoke but i thinks its just build up in cylinder 1 from it not firing. I plan on sea-foaming the whole damn motor hahaha gonna be pretty bad from running on 3 cylinders this whole time. I also broke something.. or it was already broke. It a little cylindrical piece with a vacuum line coming from the intake and another that i was not in a hurry to chase, It has an electrical connector at the top by the cylinder 1 area of the fuel rail. Try to find a pic or the name in my FSM

Going to make this motor pass air care, then i will have 2 years to make my CA!8D run the way i want! but after air care, I am going to run this ca20 hard, I want to pop its cherry and make it bleed all over the asphalt!

On other news i am super interested in this, but holly crap is it big http://www.revscene.net/forums/fs-remus-universal-t637119.html

Did my front brakes tonight, using parts from my 2 sets my front rotors are like new to,  now my car is closer to being great. Going to maybe get new rears calipers tomorrow, all my pads are beefy so now i know i have  a full set of spares from the calipers Peppper sent me. I then took my car out for my first drive, i loved it! Damn valve stems lol, they will be in on monday. I think i will do the head gasket while i am at it, also clean the valve seats the best i can. Just needs to pass aircare!

Was a good night.... GO GO GADGET SMOKESCREEN! and everything around my car disappears into the night XD.

Oh and some guy that owns a 200 out in that area cut the motor mounts, all the hoses, all the harness, even the fuel lines on both the top and bottom of the fuel filter...., and pulled the motor. all they did was take the fly wheel and clutch and left the motor on the ground beside the car and picked up and threw the tranny on the power steering rack..... they did much more work and more damage then necessary, I want those parts, but stupid ass kids just dont care about anything, just piss's me off. can back that up to. at least 95% of the people i am friends with are older then me, even girlfriends.

all i really came for was the plate from the tranny and the motor. but took the rest as precaution if any thing was messed. if you wanted me to be more gentle you should have just told me and i would have spent the time.

Never scene or herd you cut anything or i would have started taking crap off for you and your friend. I went to grab wires for the tach and speedo cable to see it was all chopped. I can understand about grabbing parts or being rushed, but some stuff the power steering line (i wanted for my friends car) costs $560 new (so i was quoted). Not to mention that there are not many parts left for our cars, but to find out that all the good stuff was destroyed for what seemed like no reason, would have saved time and effort to drop the tranny. If you had taken the motor i wouldn't have said a thing as it is a large hassle to take off all that crap off. but to come back a a few days, and a few weeks after to see the motor still there did not help my thoughts.

I will admit i was a little out of place to say most of it but hey, thats happens when people are pissed, Sorry. I did manage however to find some of that stuff online and at ralphs, but ralphs love to rape you up the ass and not even have the courtesy to dry you off in the end. :P

Car is home. Starting on the valve stem seals tonight, have the new seals, head gasket, bit of fine sand paper to clean up the valve seats, seafoam, oil, oil filter.

Came up with project name that suits my car and many other 200's for how they have been overlooked by the car scene and mistreated by many of the old owners.

Pics from my first night driving with the amazing ca20e, sorry if some are really dark..... (Car handles freaking good with my tires and sloppy rotted bushings)

Bored, Cant sleep.. I was thinking about the turbo set up for my ca18det swap and remembered that i have no place on the manifold for the external wastegate. Came across a little adapter that i was thinking about making, funny how that works.

(http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/8099/t3t303.jpg) (http://img291.imageshack.us/i/t3t303.jpg/)

Now to find out what size i need..... HOPE to get the damn info about this blown turbo i bought from a *Friend*. Kinda pissed that i always help him but i turn around to be stranded. Almost thinking of selling the remains of this crap to buy something better...

Edit* I'm mad  very mad, water in oil. Doing a comPression test. Sad thing about the 20e is that it is almost as easy to remove the head as opposed to the intake!!

I am JB welding the the f@*#ing water jackets that are rotted. custom cut gasket for the intake and i am going to put a bit of high temp red gasket maker around the water jackets :) I bought a 12 pack of beer. Now its time to finish pulling the last 2 hoses, head bolts, and belts

Using a comp made out of the spare parts and a spare tower from all the crap in the garage lol, works pretty good to since it is so quick. transferring my old hard drive files to this comp later after i try to get rid of the trojan.

My replacement head gasket should be in today, i hope since i it was suppose to be in yesterday :(. If it does not get here i think i am going to pop off my fenders and check for rust and take protective measures. Maybe jack the rear up and play with the rear brakes since i have only serviced the fronts. Also looking for a Quaife diff (I know, good luck). seen my end of the month funds......... I should go send off my tax return soon, getting to low on my bank account for what i like. cant wait till the end of May when i can legally sell my house in Nova Scotia

I was looking at that adapter for the wastegate just now, and I was wondering if that would make it so the turbo didn't clear the steering column.... just something I thought I'd share.

Might be easier to just drill and weld on a flange on the manifold. If you can't do it, a shop prolly can for like 50-75 bux.
Title: Re: Lost Attraction
Post by: Prolowtone on 09:54:37 PM / 31-Mar-11
Yeah. I was thinking about all the clearances with the fender, steering parts and room for my exhaust to bolt up. Thanks for the input tho, I might just have to take it to one of my friends shops and give them an energy drink or 2 and have them drill and weld it.

Title: Re: Lost Attraction
Post by: Prolowtone on 10:42:31 PM / 31-Mar-11
I have 2 exhaust manifolds. I have to chop either an weld on a larger flange in order for my turbo to bolt onto it. I am thinking of sticking with the XSPOWER one thats already on there as the pipes all seem to be equal length and it also seems to keep it a bit farther from the steering column.

Title: Re: Lost Attraction
Post by: Arro on 10:45:48 PM / 31-Mar-11
Yeah I have an XS Power manifold for my KA-DE, and it's legit... they use the better grade stainless, the welds are machine-welded, and they have the additional support parts on the flange welds for added strength. You should stick with that one, I agree.

You can weld the stick of 1" tubing right where the junction is above the flange, and below those hose clamps, as seen on the second to last photo. Just don't go with a BIG external gate, even the smaller ones should be plenty. Any need for something more would mean this tubular manifold would crack and break anyways.

I was was thinking of going  and putting the hole right where that little plate is on the first photo. I NEVER thought of using the large exposed area on the backside lol. And the Exturnal waste gate hole is not very big so i think i should be fine, already have the flange for it now that i think of it. Thanks!

*forgot to say i am mad, First head gasket is faulty. now my second one has disappeared of the face of the earth and they can not find my paperwork! was told it would be in Tuesday, Wednesday, THURSDAY! and now i find out that the closest place Napa can get is Ottawa :( My NAPA Rep friend is going to see if the company will just pay for one from the Nissan dealer, FML CA20 CURSE

Im a welders helper in the oil patch, My dad is a pipe fitter and has his own company started. we live out of camp while working 24 days and come to my dads place for 4 days then leave again. No one is ever home cause we are almost always at work so Dad pays the neighbors daughter to come cut the grass and clean the house when she is not looking after her little girl. we own the house, no land line, never really use electricity so living is super cheep. Since my dad contracts his truck and equipment to whatever company he is doing the work and he is also getting paid for his work, he pulls in some good money. I make alot less then him and i bring home 11G before tax every 48 days or so

I have not worked since September and im still polishing off the money i made, still yet to cash in my tax return

I am DONE with the car for a few days. started off by fixing the spark plugs (Gaping them and cleaning them) car still runs rich, and sputters on accel. played with plug wires making sure they were connected, no progress. pulled all the wires out of the distributor to make sure they wee all in good, sputter on acell went away. fixed vacuum leaks, no progress. played with injector connectors and idle, again no progress. put a vacuum hose to my ear and searched some more, heater line blows up almost burning me. fixed  the hose, checked timing again and then the rad cap fucking pops and starts screaming like a banshee

Have gotten a bit done. I steam cleaned all of my interior, Looks so much better :) i was actually starting to like what i paid for my car until i was starting to steam clean around the engine bay and found that the plastic piece under the passenger wiper is screwed. since the wiper is spring loaded it pushes into the cracked part allowing the wiper to sit higher and grind away at the bottom of my hood :S i flipped it around so that the spring loaded pressure is pressing against the solid part. but i snapped one of the bolts that hold it in place... so i may need one

Hey everyone im back :) Been too long. Been way to busy with other peoples drama, slaving on friends cars and a crash to boot (thats the second time being run off the road by a speeding white truck since September :hahanot:)

Car still needs a rear hub bearings, Wipers and a drivers inner tie rod end before i put it on the road.
Has not changed to much, just waxed it a couple of weeks ago as some of you already know.

YES! TURBO HOOD! so happy right now (Thanks S12-AR). Going to look at paint tomorrow, and clear a space under my bed to store the hood off my car :) Save it as a spare.

Paid for the hood today :D and i also got the front half of the drive shaft of a 240 at the yard.

Still have not had time to grab the Z31 suspension as i have been busy as hell helping restore my friends 82 celica supra. Body work= Done, Paint= done (Picked up the car 3 days ago), Motor+suspension rebuild= Done (Just need stiffer springs an sway bar in the rear). The Exhaust is being redone today as we installed an OBX header which changed how it sits under the car :S Bolt on my ass....

Bought 3 months insurance so my car is now plated :) lol i didnt have many to choose from so i got one with LVA (Lova, cause she takes all my moneys)
Installed, painted wiper arms, the cover that sits at the the bottom of the window under the wipers, new rack bellows, drivers inner tie rod end and gave it a measuring tape alignment :D, hatch latch, original wheel so i have a horn for a bit, bled the brakes again... Think im going to buy a new master tomorrow if they dont work right after i bleed them in the morning.

I drove 130km today and the fastest i have driven my car since i bought it was on the way home, i got my lil ca20 up to 135kmph lmao (with faulty brakes and a wobbling tire.

I guessed right.. inner bearing on the passenger side was toast. the pins were everywhere, the cage separated from the center of the bearing allowing the hub to sink and bend the area on the dust shield where the grease sits on the hub causing a grinding noise but now thats all fixed.

The Brake Master cylinder is toast. I pulled off the front line and put a beer can under the hole. I went down to the garage after i ate to see that it had slowly dripped till the was nothing in the resivour. That means the rubber seals inside are worn out and letting fluid weep past the seals, so it cant hold pressure. Still cant believe they wanted like $366 for the master cylinder :S (I would have cried rape) i got mine at the net price of $240+ my discount so it came out to $166 lol

i might get it again tomorrow at a junk yard, This one has retarded prices... but has a notch which might have a good tack and mirror.

The car feels Alot better now, Totally turned into a different car over the last week. Picked up and installed my passenger E-brake cable. My car still jumps to the side i hit a pot hole on, but i think thats all thanks to my shot bushings. i was going to pick up a Z31 pro-thane total bushing kit but they dont carry them at Lordco :(. Time to hit up E-bay.

I cant afford no brakes. the other one maybe had one or two days left in its life before shit when drastically wrong. I almost got into an accident today doing 80KM, Some dick pulled straight out of a parking lot, across on comming traffic and i had to almost lock up the brakes. Car slid and screeched a bit but i stopped about a foot from his bumper. I went ape shit :glarestraight: I layed on the horn for about a minute while fingering him, a pedestrian walked up to his window hollering at him

Well.... change of events. Me an 2 friends were all going to drive to Peachland BC tomorrow to drop off the Finished Celica Supra for the winter since my friend has no room to store it here. We were all going to pile into my friends 4th gen Prelude for the way back but he got into an accident last night so now his car is fucked. Now we are taking my car up to drop off the Supra :/. I guess this will be my cars first road trip, atleast my car gets good fuel economy till we have to first gear up the Coquihalla pass... (long and steep climb)
Can get some Nice pics tho.

Title: Re: Lost Attraction
Post by: Prolowtone on 06:25:34 AM / 01-Oct-11
WOW.. Eventful trip! Drove up then drove back = 750+km in a day. We did some dirt road drifting but i went to edit my video and fucked it up  I thought i selected to cut end but i cut the beginning so all that remains is me pulling out of the way. I did good and kicked my friends asses. I did 2 full loops, Then they just almost put my car into a bush and spun out hahahahaha. my ca20 Is a 6-7 thousand RPM drift beast :D

Temp gauge spiked out of nowhere and the car just turned off going 110 and the dash lit up and the just after leaving Peachland. We put er in neutral and coasted as far as we could hoping for a turn off...as if. Pulled over as far to the right as we could as there was no shoulder to pull onto unless we coasted over the raised area that was wide enough.. put the 4-ways on as I stared cursing and all 3 of us climbed out to the side of the road for a break. Then i got to work, waiting to see an oil soaked engine bay judging by the trail of fluid behind the car. Popped the hood and there was fluid all over the drivers side of the engine bay and a puddle of fluid running down the road.. I didnt want to climb under but i found out all the fluid is pissing up my power steering pump. LOL It Seized up so hard the the motor was working harder then it should and it shut off. So i whipped out my nice Gerber hunting knife, cut the belt off, and hit the road again.

My front tires are TOAST, Racing slick on the drivers side and im down to the treads on the outside of the passenger tire... Front needs more camber. Guess i get to look for 2 front tires and go for an Alignment tomorrow..
PS. My car revs so much fucking faster without the P/S pump it is STUPID. I Pulled off the line on my friends 4th gen prelude with the swapped V-tak motor and i only did a 3 grand launch i stayed ahead in 3rd till i let him pass me in the slow lane (the road goes down to one lane). not to shabby me thinks

oh and my friend just needs a new rear bumper and lip for his car...... Along with a front subrame, T/C rods, and lower control arm. He drove over a curb when he got hit now the passenger tire sits further back in his wheel well then the drivers side.

Added some new weather stripping around the hatch to stop annoying squeaking (getting more tomorrow as i only had enough to do about half. I actually have to slam it to shut it now that its so thick... but it should work good and reduce wind noise and squeaking of rubber on paint when the car twists. I added some thin weather stripping to the doors a few months ago and it reduced about 85-90% of wind and road noise. also going to add some thin stuff to my side windows and the moon roof. Also put a new starter in my jeep
Title: Re: Lost Attraction
Post by: Prolowtone on 05:41:10 AM / 03-Dec-11

Been awhile since I posted in here. The car is super quiet inside, I dare say you hear more wind and road noise out of my moms boyfriends 2003 Sentra SE-R. But you still hear the motor and exhaust just fine. The hatch does not squeak anymore but no I have a vibration in my dash that I hear once every few weeks and it is starting to bug me :( I'll never be happy lol.

I'm just noticed that I am getting lower for winter...  17's in the summer, 15's in the fall, and now  I'm going to be putting on 14's for the winter lol also fixed my jeep..... Wasn't the starter that was causing the no crank..... I put the trans in reverse and my reverse lights didn't turn on.. Crawled under and tapped the NSS and sure enough the lights turned on. So I took it apart and rebuilt it and  life is back to normal.. I tried to fix my rear defrost but...... It was a waste of 30 dollars. Time to take it to a shop :( I can't see with only 4 strips working

Today on my way to go get new rims and tires for my jeep my speedo died.. kinda flickered then read 0 all day :S I hope it didnt break or i will need one ASAP. i would have to get it sent express...

installed the rims and tires on my Cherokee and went to get the DTC codes that came on a few days ago.... It said heated oxygen sensor failure (Its brand fucking new! What the hell) So i started crawling under the front and noticed a bracket with my oxygen sensor wiring sitting on the front diff wrapped around the oil pan heater cord. I guess the bolt that held it to the intake came out which allowed it to drop. I cursed a few times and looked at the top of the motor and sure enough, I thought right. When the bracket fell it pulled the slack in the line and forced it onto the exhaust manifold :( burned through the plastic coating and the coating of 3 of 4 wires and shorted them out on the exhaust.

Edit* Jeep is temporarily fixed, new rims and tires are on but i need to paint the highlight of the rims..some day.. and i dont need a new speedo cable for the s12 :D. The little spring loaded part that sits in the neck of the speedo cable tube just popped out so there was no pressure between the cable and the needle that turns the speedo. and now i get to sleep

Wheels look great! But it looks like you need smaller tires.
and a whole foot drop :P

hahaha I kid.
How do you like the T/C kit?

My jeep is getting a lift kit :P rear leafs are starting to feel saggy and the front springs are soft and bouncy... may as well pay the extra few bucks to ;lift it then to put more stock stuff back on it right?

The T/C kit is nice. solved a lot of the odd felling of the suspension swaying under heavy braking and cornering, I feel a sharper turn in (More responsive steering)

Message from Strata "There will be no parking in the rear of the complex from December 12-16th as we are repairing the driveway letdown and sidewalk. Any vehicles parked on the rear street will NOT be able to exit from December 12-16". So there are 4 guest parking areas that are available to use, 3 are ment to park 2 cars and 1 is ment for 1 but you can fit 2... and the back street is always full of vehicles..... this shall get interesting im going to move my car after so i can get a spot. I foresee people parking infront of their garages even tho it is considered a no parking zone (Fire lane)...

Cleaned the garage a bit while waiting for my buddy to come over again with his civic. Organized my pile of S12 related parts and filled 3 more Rubbermaid bins and started using the organizer i bought for bolts etc.. and i still have more laying about :S.

While steam cleaning the car my friend told me some interesting news about one of the shops i know. Its run by an acquaintance of mine and his father, They are understaffed and its going to get worse now that its winter.. and they just lost another worker (Alcoholic or so i herd) who had his stomach rip open and had to get stitched back together and cant work for awhile. This shop does Race built cars and tuners and is in the middle of building my friends RB powered S13, so i would like to help out and get some more shop experience.

I will be able to progress my fab skills, learn more about tuning then i already know. Plus i will get the chance to get some Very sweet parts, be able to source the parts i want for cheaper and maybe have access to tools or people that will do some good low cost labor (Hot tank my block and head, blueprint the head, over bore my cylinders ETC). I may also be able to get some ideas for suspension work on our cars :D

My friend is just going to mention me cause i am not hopeless. I have been to the shop a few times and still cant get over the cars they have in the lot and on the shelf's in the shop.. :D :Giddy: I like guy and hope that i will be able to fit in at his shop if i get a chance to prove myself useful

I think the ca20's head is almost at its limit :S. My repair on the rear of the head is still miraculously working perfectly with my home made fix for the water jackets! but the front of the head is starting to succumb to the fatigue i had noticed around cylinder one valves.. I cleaned the spark plugs and noticed they were heavily covered in burnt oil (Explains why the car is starting to smoke again) :( I dono if im going to build up my DET right now... all it really needs is a turbo and bearings before it goes in, so much for my plans T_T

Fuck :( I dont think my turbo will fit if i keep it as a bottom mount

Going to be super tight, Might chop the manifold a bit in to sections pull it out and stitch i back up for the extra tuck to clear the engine mount and the fender...We will see as i got to put it in. I look the look of having it bottom mount instead of top mount.

Car is pretty good in the snow. Even drove down roads that i watched people crash on in 4X4 trucks and cars :P People and their summer tires. There are a ton of warnings around my area the last 4 or 5 days, been snowing constantly in some towns.. 2 semis and multiple cars have flipped or gone into the ditch the last 2 days near here :S If i was in Alberta i would not be surprised at all, But in my 7 or so years of being here it is the worst and people dont know how to handle it LOL. it has been -10 or so degrees Celsius and it only getting worse Hahahha. The Eastern Fraser Valley is already experiencing frigid temperatures, strong outflow winds and local blowing snow all leading to treacherous conditions. These conditions are forecast worsen tonight and Wednesday morning as the Arctic front pushes towards the coast and some snowfall gets thrown into the mix. Temperatures well below freezing and increasing outflow winds will also create wind chill values minus 20 and below through the Fraser Valley, over the southeastern portions of Greater Vancouver as well as the Whistler and Howe Sound regions. I see you went with standard bore pistons,  are these engines generally fine in terms of clearances/not having to be re-bored?

And I also see you went with the ACL bearings,  on NICO there are hit and miss reviews about em,  you think they'll be fine?

You would want to check your cylinders and see if they are out of round, then determine if it needs a overbore.
You would want to hone anyways.
I'm running acl s in my Sr, mean while I haven't really had it running yet.
I also know a few people running ACL s as well and there are no complaints, and hey beat on there cars

.... You think i would be dumb enough to order a shit ton of parts and not know what i need? LOL

My motor is in really good shape as i already had it apart, All it needs is new bearings but i said fuck it and decided to redo some extra shit while i am at it so i dont have to pull the whole motor out and apart once i feel like making more horse power. im going to give the cylinders a quick hone with a drill just to help the new rings seat properly, Always a good idea IMO. I have never herd anything bad about ACL bearings, I have actually gone to quite a few shops and they recommended them over clevites which are softer.

In other news, I have been super fucking busy this week with peoples cars. dkdsilver got his MK2 s12 from a former member youthanasia, Car is in pretty good shape. We did a quick oil change before driving the car home, Not bad for sitting for 5 years :)

We went out for a drive to burn off the old gas 2 days later and a Chevy 2500 got cut off and crashed into barrier directly in front of us but both our cars came out uninjured, Tho i almost spun out as we were going around a corner as it started to rain when this happened :S Damn my skinny winter tires. After talking with the police the let us go and we took the car to my place for new filters, rad flush, thermostat and temp sensor. Going to maybe pick him up a new fender today at the yard if it in good shape.

.... You think i would be dumb enough to order a shit ton of parts and not know what i need? LOL

Dude!  Nobody thinks anything like that at all man!  I was asking a general question about the CA18DET,  and D-Sport was just answering me,  not telling you what to do.  S'all good!

And about the ACL bearings,  I wasn't just randomly spouting unverified nonsense.  Boost_Boy,  who is a mod on the NICO CA18DET forum,  who from what I understand is like THE CA18DET guru,  advises people not to use ACL bearings due to the amount of failures in the CA in recent years.  Here's just a very recent example,
http://forums.nicoclub.com/knocking-at-230-miles-after-rebuild-t549696.html

I was just wondering if you had heard about this,  or had an opinion about 'em,  and it seems that the shops said they'd work fine.  So I bet they will!  I'm just passing some info around,  that's all.

As usual,  keep up the progress!  Love this build  :yay!:

Lol there was no anger in there i just found it funny that it sounded like i didnt know what parts i needed hahahaha. Sorry if i came off as angry dude.. damn Internets and misleading text. Its been a long week, I just quickly typed up the info that i had come across. I had checked out info and read many builds over a few months of not having anything else to do. Ill check it out but i have herd people say bad thing about both clevites and ACL but im guessing that it had to do with the way everything was installed (Use of assembly lube or dry start, Polished crank or out of round ETC). Thanks for the info anyways. I might have something nice for my car later... we will see.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Drove all over the lower mainland. I was laying in the passenger side of my car looking at the back of my deck trying to fix a problem with my sub not working When i had someone walk up to the car and start giving me compliments on how nice it looks. I pulled my head out from under the dash and made some small talk with the guy untill he said, You dont recognize me.... You bought the car from me! LOL.

I showed him everything i had done to the car and explained the engine problems i had fixed and he told me that he had the motor rebuilt by someone about 2 years before i bought the car. It was not used much as it was ment to go back and forth to school but his son barely used it, so he drove it around. He told me he stills misses this fun little car and he enjoyed it more them the civic they drive around now, I got the feeling he wants it back :D

Also went by a car meet with some friends, Made some new friends and seen some nice fucking cars..... I wish my camera wasnt so shitty. I didnt want to use my flash until the other photographers dispersed as they do much nicer shots then me. Example

(http://www.artofstance.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/speed_s2000.jpg) I Was standing behind his camera as he was setting up his shot.

I did get a good shot of mine after everyone left tho

Just catching up on your thread.. I like your winter wheels better  15's With some lowering those would be perfect, very 80's vintage aftermarket.
Title: Re: Lost Attraction
Post by: Prolowtone on 06:07:36 AM / 25-Feb-12
I know i need to go lower and the rims are growing on me. I may get them widened tho as they are only like 6" wide give or take. I want to get stiffer springs, better (shorter) struts and shocks. Or find a super short strut insert and trim the springs just short enough that there is still travel and they sit tight to the top hat with the shorter struts. then get adjustable sleeves for the rear... I got ideas right now but no ,money for any of them. Waiting to get a call back for a few construction and shop jobs

Edit* Going to post up some Photos from the meets i have gone to the last 3 nights in a row later on in the day

Can you widen cast aluminum wheels? I've been told by a couple shops that you can't, but I've always wondered if because they were local yokel shops, they just didn't know the facts about aluminum wheels. I've wanted to run these or the Outlaw II style wheels (the ones like these but with the bigger holes in them) forever, but the sizes aren't there and I'd have to convert to five-lug. I still might do it, not sure.

Edit: oh and that S2000 looks horrible IMO... I hate it when fanbois screw up the body lines completely by adding chunky, flared out body components and modifications. I'm not opposed to completely changing the looks of a car, but it needs to FLOW together nicely. This looks like a fusing of parts from 80's and 2000's cars.

You hate it that he made the car functional by making it wider, etc....
Aren't you all about function?.......
Title: Re: Lost Attraction
Post by: Arro on 01:36:46 PM / 25-Feb-12
Me? Geezus you never did get me did ya.. I am about function FIRST, but I wouldn't make my car look like ass for performance unless it was a genuine track-dedicated car. I've been to professional drift events, and those cars are IMO anything but clean looking... and I appreciate that, because they are PURPOSE driven. I fully expect them to have ziptied shit and nutso fender flares riveted on.

A street car on the other hand, is there really a need to go that wide? Nope. And certainly not at the expense of esthetics. Note the word there... esthetics. I didn't say "trendy looks" like hellaflush. That S2000 kills its esthetics for no good reason, that's my point.

If I didn't have a healthy appreciation for visual design, I'd just want to drive sand rails. And even tho the S12 is not everyone's cup of tea, it has a distinct design to it. That S2000 has like three different design elements clashing together like it was designed by a person blind from birth.
Title: Re: Lost Attraction
Post by: Prolowtone on 02:48:26 PM / 25-Feb-12
LOL, I agree its not my cup of tee but the car is well done from a close view, Tho i doubt it will ever be used on track as he has airbags for raising and lowering the front and rear of the car

Hmmm, What to say.... I have not been doing very much of anything to my car as of recent due to finally being broke. I had been applying to jobs the last few months but kicked it into overdrive the last month and a half. I have not even had one damn callback or E-mail :( I have been applying to shop jobs, construction jobs and general labour jobs.  I have been stressed out and sick on and off for the last few months to top it all off. I have been having problems where i can not eat and have to drink protein shakes for a few days every once in awhile along with feeling down in the dumps. Kinda has me worried as it was about a year ago where i lost about 30 pounds in a few week period....... I want to know but i dont want to have another thing on my plate right now. I also almost broke my finger a few nights ago and have a nice blackish pinky nail and i think i have 3 or 4 planters warts on the soles of my feet so i am going to get that checked out tomorrow before i go out to Vancouver to help try and chase down a wiring problem in my friends prelude.

I am going to go out to apply for an automotive dismantling job for a shit wage at a junkyard tomorrow as well as a parts supply shop (Lordco). If i dont hear anything soon i am going to disappear for a few months :( Which means no Car meets or racing schools this summer, My car wont be built and i wont have a life at all as i will be living in camp again....I think... Its driving me nuts to say the least. To keep my mind off of things i have been working on all of my friends projects since i cant really afford to do anything to mine.

I borrowed my friends welder and mask to do some work on my wiper arms (Inside the cowling) as my wiper on the driver side does not reach over all the way and i noticed that the arm has a rectangular slot on it that i am going to weld up so that the wiper gets pushed all the way over (Fucker popped off on the highway during a super heavy downpour and i couldnt see!). Might also mes around with the exhaust manifold on the DET after i re-weld my Creeper that broke.

Dkdsilver took me out to a good spot away from the general public and any random traffic for a bit of drifting. I got to admit that the S12 looks damn good going sideways in first person when i was following behind him LOL. He had some nice controlled entry and good angles. It was my first time actually drifting and i got to admit that it was really fun and was pretty easy. I was kinda shaky at first when trying to straighten out after a corner and decided to just do chicanes since the area was nice and wide. after about 5 or 6 minutes i was controlling the car and keeping a good line and was surprising Chris's friend who was in my passenger seat. We were laughing our asses off and having a blast, And he asked me "Are you sure you have never done this before? Cause you are doing good" Topped off the night with a movie and went home in good spirits and started applying for more work before passing out. Thanks again dude!

Also have a new pic of my car that someone uploaded from a car meet on the 24th, I currently have it as my background on my 32" TV

Hahahaha they asked if they could park beside me and get some good pics :D I didnt mind since i got some good single shots and some good group shots.

In other news my ca20s head cracked on me yesterday when i got home... I just put in a full tank and was getting ready for work. I popped the hood to put in a new exhaust stud as one fell out and i was sick of the ticking noise. I noticed a hissing noise but only on the drivers side, no leaking coming from my rad or the hoses or the rad. I put my ear up to the exhaust and could here the hissing from cylinder 3, I popped my rad cap and the hissing stopped. Car is not smoking so its not the head gasket but the water jacket in the head itself.

Went to my friends shop to get a quote on getting the det Hot tanked, check the deck of the head and block, polish the deck, polish my crank, valve grind etc. gonna cost me roughly 500 to 700 for all the work. :/ Car is offically off the road for a month at least.

Super long day Dono if i even want to type it out.    Woke up feeling crappy, Drove 100km home from my friends place. Had a quick nap before i had to leave for work that didnt end so quick so i was late to work. about 40 minutes into my drove an east indian truck driver points at my passenger rim at a stop light so i put down my window (U Have Big Srew in Titre) I said AWWW fuck! pulled into a gas station, No tuner lug to take the rims off, Wait an hour and a half for moms boyfriend to drive out and give it to me. We pull the tire off, Lower the spare from under the truck bed, go to put it on.............. Fucking thing does not have the proper bore size! This just made my day, I roll the old punctured tire over to the air pump and fill it up after i paid the dollar charge :s. Put it on and rushed over to my friends shop as they are down the road and its 6 pm now so most shops are closed that woulds fix it. i had to park down the road as the lot is full.

Pulled the tire off and try a rim, dont fit put the bad one on lower truck, back to the shop find another rim, pull bad one off to try again dont fit so put it all together again did this like ten fucking times. Skinny road with a dirt shoulder where i shouldnt use a bottle jack little lone leave it up without a tire so it was extra work :( Nothing fit in the end so i filled up my tire and rushed to a Warehousing store i know (Costco) Where i talked to the guy at the parts counter about getting a rim and tire if they had and spares, But as i thought He can only sell my two tires instead of one and they have no rims. Go to Canadian tire and the shop part is closed but i got the guy to get me a tire plug since they also can not sell single rims and tires. Back to my friends shop to ask if i can use the tire machine, They said sure but the part you pull the tire up onto is broke so it was going to be interesting. I tried and got a good sweat going but the machine was to small..... I was moving it around as i tried to pop the bead over the edge of the rim and was flexing the metal bar to the point we thought it might snap...Fucking low profile tires. so im not going to even make it for the end of my shift at work and no one would pick up when i called 9 FUCKING TIMES! so if i get shit tomorrow i am going to rip every single person in the front office a new fucking asshole!

Tomorrow i need to get up, Cash my cheque at the bank, Get the tire patched and try to not be late for work. Mom gave me a bottle of Deserono and i got a 6 pack of beer. Think im going to dig into the s12 a bit tonight

Just drove the S12 for the first time in months of driving the little toyota. took it down an empty bumpy poorly paved road at a fair pace. If felt like the most floaty, swaying, heavy, wide, ass draggiest, light clutched, pinky shifting fucking thing EVER. But God do i miss the pull, torque and sound of my little ca20 s12 (I think the crack in the head is giving it +20 foot pounds of torque). I cant wait for my build to progress

DONT SWING YOUR FUCKING DOORS OPEN IN PARKING LOTS FOR FUCK SAKES. second time the s12 out and around in 2 months and some dumbass women Throws her fucking mini van door open and peels some of the paint off my mirror as i start the car and put it in gear. I started fuming and shut the car off, Got out and checked it while she kept saying it wasnt her....... I gave her my "Fucking No" look and told her, Do you see any chips there, NO?, Thats because i fill them all with scratch filler! See the paint chip on your door and the silver paint on my mirror, Kind of a coincidence now isnt it..... I took down her info and gave her mine as she kept saying to settle privately bla bla bla, took some pics to. Then as i went to leave she starts saying god will bless me if i forget about it as i am getting in my car. I looked her in the eyes and told her i am an Atheist started the car and some old school rock started blasting. I waited for her to leave incase she hit me again or someone else.....

Been busy. Also a word of advise, Bolt on is NEVER BOLT ON... Been holding off on putting these in for MONTHS! i test fit one side awhile back and found out the control arms need a "Little" modding.... Cutting, grinding, then full structural reinforcement of the lower control arms because of the cutting and grinding :yay!:
Finally said to hell with it and got to work

Yeah i had to grind away a couple times at the lca to make them fit. They also say 15" can be used with that kit but i barely fit 16's over it

Did you box-weld yours to? Trying to decide on my nice stiff coilovers and the s13 stuff or my lowering springs and the brake kit :(.. If i keep this kit then i am taking the arms to work and powder coating them. If i dont sleep in, ill try to fit the stock 15" rims on in the morning before i go to the shop so i can maybe sell them to make more room in my garage

Fuck you to ca20.. Who needs a voltage regulator, you thought you could win by scaring me into thinking you caught fire as fuses started to pop. After i found your problem I won by turning on my high beams, full blast on my heater and my sub on full bass at volume 28.

Finally home...

I was cruising along and started to feel the slightest change in the rear end of the car,  as i get into the turn lane and slowed down i had to fight the car a bit to stay straight like i have a low tire. Turned on my 4ways after i completed my left turn and crawled to the little gravel area 30 feet or so down the road. checked all my tires wiggle the rims, kicked them all and couldn't find anything wrong. I started to thing i was crazy so i drove away and turned right, everything felt normal. started to turn left and the ass started to track like i was starting a drift and i felt a big grind :S (Thankfully there is no curb on the side of the road where the parking area is for the auto shops).. i quickly countered and drove Straight into the parking area on the side of the road and got out thinking WTF! Checked under my car thinking my lower control arm started off as my fitment was PERFECT! then i noticed the finger gap between my rear disk and the rim, I bent over to see im missing two lug nuts...... wait a fuck? THEY SNAPPED OFF and the last black one broke with no force at all.... Only my locking lug was left,\

Called my best friend to come with his jack so we could jack the car up. I searched around the car and lucky i still have the stock lugs for the spare tire and the tire iron kit for the truck in the back of the car for some reason. If i had gone any other route........ the rim would have come off in a sharp corner or on the highway /Mission bridge!

Alomst 2 years and 5 months since i updated this..
Not alot of good has happened to the old girl. I couldnt get the proper lug nuts for the rims without going back to the same ones and it was hard to find 16" rims that where thin enough to fit the short factory lugs but the proper offset to clear the big brake kit. I left my 17s on the front and put the stock rims on the rear, a few days later someone tried to break into it by punching my lock which snapped the back and prevented them from getting in but i cant find a new lock. THEN Both my cars got towed due to my Strada manager being an ass, calling in my cars as abandoned when i was in the middle of moving out.

The black car was towed safely (I would have gotten jail time)...  I get back after dropping a load of stuff off to the New house to find my both my cars are gone from our parking area behind the complex and moms jeep has a large pink tow sticker on it aswell so i rip it off and call the company after moving the jeep. I go down to their impound and found why they were towed. While waiting to go into the yard to get my cars i see through the gate that they had the ass of my grey car lifted off the ground by a forklift moving it across the impound. My head started ringing..

I go talk to the girl at the front desk who tells me the car is dead and needed a jump but brings me into the back where i discover the worst nightmare.
The Grey car (Project Lost Attraction) was towed into something that made a 1' 7" gash in the passenger fender, cut the passenger tire down to the cords and damaged my rim, scratched the mirror and dented/Cracked my front bumper and because they didnt secure the steering wheel so my wheel bar spun up when the front tires turned during the tow and smashed the bloody hell out of the windshield. and when they lifted the rear with the forklift the dented in my gas tank.

I lost all motivation to even look at either of the cars after then and stored them since other then the 4 times had the black car out. I work away more often then im home but have been helping to build and maintain other cars so i wasnt out completely but i was certainly on a bit of a hiatus.

You had more control than I would have. I think heads would be rolling if they did that to my cars. At bare minimum there would be multiple lawsuits involved and the manager would be fired, as well as whoever at the tow company f-ed up my car(s).

Tried to sue but i was put aside as my insurance was up so no money to be made for the monopolized BC government and they somehow consider that parking area as a public road and continued to say i should have gotten tickets ontop of it all. Im away to much and would lose more money if had to miss work and pay for a layer and the rest of those fees. Bullshit eh. Tow company showed me the drivers inspection sheet and that the damage was there before he towed it.. as if he couldnt write more damage on the sheet after he started towing the car and smashed it!

The cars were parked here but the black car was in front of the grey car so how did it get hit at all on the front and passenger sides. Whatever tho, Nothing i can do now as mad as i am, Just need to acquire new fender and front bumper and windshield.
