alright been thinking too much and i feel like getting opinions on this. i have this vk56 sitting in my shed that i got out of a wrecked armada i found on copart(a friend and i split the cost since he needed a bunch of parts for his moms car because he crashed it and i just really wanted the engine). it has 34k on it and etc. the original plan was to put this engine with a z33 6spd or a dogbox into my s13 but im considering putting it into an s12 once i can find one. i have the whole engine harness, ecu, and dash harness because i wanted to keep the consult port for the obd2.
theres also the possibility of dropping in a 1uz but i dont feel like having 2 v8's sitting in my shed at the moment until i can get an s12. plus my parents are getting tired of my car parts being everywhere lol.
so what do you guys think?

Good luck.
All I will say
-
lol yea im just throwing it in the s13 i cant find an s12
-
i saw one in a s14 about 3 years ago. it had a tube chassis, fire wall was super hacked. cool? yes. but really worth it? no
-
alot cheaper then an lsx setup. aluminum 5.6L engine mated to a z33 tranny weighs in just about the same as a ka24de with a full turbo setup and transmission
-
got z33 trannies if u need one

I hear the VH45 is better suited for dicking around with/massaging more power out of. You might want to do moar research and possibly find a good solid VH.

^ Didn't realize your budget was that of a FormulaD team. My bad, carry on.

Damn I am loving how sharp the tongues are tonight <3 <3 <3
To be a devils advocate, the Vh45DE does need some modification to survive heavy track use, they starve out and pewp themselves :( I want one of themz.

S14 guys are running VH45's without too many issues. I know of quite a few on Houston240 doing work.

i dont have the budget of an FD team. im just saying i dont see vh's in FD
the stock VK will take a beating and will put out enough tq to keep tires spinning so no need to be bouncing off the rev limiter like i would for just about every 4 cyl.
