I tried to time a CA20E 0-60, but after a week and a half I got bored.

Mine was like 11 seconds, never did a 1/4 mile pass though... It didn't stay in the engine bay long enough.

Administrators: Please re name this thread the ca20 massive abuse site. Probably needs one of those sticky thumb tack thingys too! Wait till I get mine swapped back in. I live on a huge hill and bet I can easily break 8 sec.

Motion Denied.
There is no website that advocates the CA20E for performance.  The most any will say is to advance the timing, and other little stuff for the whopping 4hp you'll extract.

:D

there is something very cool with ca20e tho...

they last surprisingly long even without oil and coolant.

Proof: bad shape, with a head full of deposit from burning oil for too long, no oil no coolant.

Im going to try to put mine out of its gutless misery with a bit more bang! Still awesome tho. Im glade i have a working tach now! I can laugh at how hard i am really pushing it now instead of judging by the pitch of the motor... 110km in third before i had to slow down for a corner, I think i shifted out of second at 70 ish... lol
