Okay, I\'m ripping them out tomorrow.  The last time I went out there it was lightly raining and i started and said screw it.  Tomorrow should be sunny and all.  So I\'m gonna do it.  I\'m gonna put a thread in gen. tech. to see if anyone has any good ideas about my problem.

It\'s pretty easy. All you do is click on this little button (http://www.club-s12.org/board/images/editor/insertimage.gif) that is in the post editor.

Then enter the website of the image.

If you need to get your pics up on the web, then try photobucket.com.

Heres something for you guys tell me what do you think, my old Switzer S2 turbo broke down so i bought a new one. So why buy something smaller than the old one? The old one could produce 420hp max, my new holset can produce ~600hp. It required some serious mods to fit but me and my mate got it there and working, and boy does it haul ass. Have a look for yourself!

**** me, that thing\'s gigantic.  What rpm are you making workable boost?

Around 3500rpm and at 4000-4500rpm it reaaaaaaaaaaaaally kicks in. The turbo is made to whitstand 2.5bar of boost and im running 0.9bar but planning to lift it to 1.3b with the new injectors+engine management system. With this turbo a ca18det produced 349Kw at 1.5bar of boost.

they we\'re part of a full set. they were the only two that had useable tyres on them.

i\'ve since gotten rid of them, but i know where they are, and i\'ve asked the guy for them back. i want to put them on a Datto 240K (C110 Skyline) project i\'m dreaming up.

i\'d still have them if they were 15\'s or 16\'s. they sat an inch out of the rear gaurds, and used 205/60/13 tyres on them [[[ expensive.

YES!!!

I love it!!

what motor does it have in it??

will it drift??
Title: Feature your car
Post by: ROSKOracer on 02:41:31 PM / 09-Jan-06
Thank you
The engine is a Datsun/Nissan L20B Motor, with everything stripped off it if it doesn\'t make it go fast.
Carborated because of the rules of the club, and doesn\'t have a turbo. The whole engine is race, Ross Flatop racing pistons, The head is going to be remachined soon, it is 2045 CC and our best educated guess at the horsepower is about 250HP. We will dyno it after the rebuild of it and the motor is broken in, Because we are rebuilding the motor.
The car weighs 2300 pounds with me in it.

The car has a 4speed transmission that is very light. It was not recommended that I do fast shifts in it because the clutch is so light. On a 4/10ths mile oval I never get past 2nd gear and the estimated top speed on the track for my car is 100 mph.

Any way the car isn\'t set up for drifting but I could, because enogh power is there definatly. I won\'t though. 310$ a tire is not worth the smoke show.

Thanks for the interest, but just a couriosity question, Who is the youngest person in this forum?

Rusty

I have been talking to you guys from the computers at school. Once I get them downloaded I will put them up right away. The car is being rebuilt right now and it will be going to paint soon. New electrical is going to be run through the car and a new front bumper cover configuration.

No the car was running and raced well when we bought it. (My dad and I) The car ran well it just needs to be re painted and the electricle done. Bunch of body work is going to be done too. I finished 10th in two of the three races I ran last year. One of the veteren drivers told me
\"Your getting to good, too fast.\"
That was really cool. The car now is being rebuilt so that it looks as good as it runs!.  We are going to dyno it after everything goes back together.

The motor is not going to be rebuilt because our motor expert said not to touch it because the motor is in excellent condition and is probally just breaking in.
The Motor is an L20B motor with Ross racing piston flattops and the Cam is 100% Race. The car runs horrible at 2000 RPM but at 5000 it is so smooth the car doesn\'t even vibrate that much.

As for power I lost the dyno sheet the previous owner gave me but it said 212BHP at 7500RPM. When I get it dyno\'ed I will scan the printout.
The car weighs 2050 pounds

Anything else you want to know? I am glad to let you know.

It’s orange. It is very similar to the Fast and Furious Supra but we took the entire brown tinter out and that’s what it looks like. It’s just a modified Lambo color.

I will point out that the orange S12 was painted way before the Fast and Furious movie was ever thought of.

I had that car in 1997 to 2000.

ROSKOracer, that car is off the hook awesome! I want a tube chassied s12. one question, why all the positive caster? that front wheel looks really far back in the wheel well. I guess it might be the body work just being in a different spot than stock though.

westside, those konigs look awesome. good wheel fitament man. finally someone running proper rwd offsets, none of this +40 fwd crap. car looks so much beefier with good low offset wheels.

1993 Nissan 240SX
This cas has been built as a somewhat classy daily driver. It's got all of the power options and everything works except for cruize control (I'm not missing anything). The suspension was setup to be comfortable enough for long business drives and hauling my girlfriend around.

Performance:
- 1997 S14 KA engine swap (A/C works!)
- Blitz Nur-Spec 3 inch catback
- Nismo engine mounts
- Fidanza short shifter
- XTD stage 2 street clutch
- Hicass LSD
- Eibach Sportline springs with KYB AGX shocks
- Godspeed Swaybars (front and rear)
- Solid spherical bearing T/C rods
- Ebay strut tower bar (front only)

Cosmetic:
- OEM S15 front seats
- OEM S13 Silvia skirts
- New black carpet
- Momo "race" steering wheel
- fresh paint
- Konig rewinds (15x7, 0 offset)

I'm honestly about done with this car. The exhaust was puchased for car #2 and will be swapped out as soon as I find a desent 2.5 inch catback with a resonator. I'm going to put a Xenon front lip onto it next month. I may do a low-boost (200ish Rwhp) in the future after project #2 is finished.

I'm have been building this car
1993 240SX.
blacktop S13 SR20DET.
Chargespeed everything.
lots of other stuff. Needs about $10,000.00 to get it to the place I want it to be.
I'm building this car for HPDE and drift events.

The S12. I bough this car mainly for classic appeal. I want to make it super clean on the outside and do some minor styling alterations and performance modifications.

Since I bought it I have purchased all-new interior panels from OEM surplus. I'd like to find a better set of seats but I have a feeling I'll be looking in junkyards for a long time for the same type in better condition.
I'm going to have the car painted black again as soon as I find some factory V6 Skirts and a bumper. I'd like to run a CA20ET on this car (for old-school appeal)
I have been buying an assload of interior tidbits to make it look like new again on the inside. I'm doing an S13 front suspension conversion and will probably run some custom made springs and koni shocks on the back:

SkS12, Your car looks bad ass with the rust and the stock wheels at that ride height. I want to see an S12 hoodride so bad. You should add paint blemishes to fit the look man.
