Does anyone know of a 5 stud rear end or hubs that are readily available in Australia? I\'m looking to swap my front end and need a rear conversion to go with it.

Teacher: So, as you can see, this car in the picture reduces air resistance and can accelerate faster.
Student #1, chuckling: Yeah, and plus, it's yellow, so that makes it faster, too.
Teacher, laughing: Haha, yeah, very true.
Student #2: Wait, really?

I\'ve been on the lookout for a Z31 rear end for a while, but not having much luck finding one.

Mine\'s IRS, I picked up a set of 5 stud front hubs today (Option1Garage direct fit hubs for S13). Until I can find someting for the rear I am just going to run it with the 4 stud rear end. It should be n the road in the next couple of weeks, I\'m just down to finishing things off and trying to sort out the diff and rear camber. If the lsd is to pricey to fix I think I\'ll just treat an open centre to a few welding rods, camber could be a bit more of a problem though. In any case it should be running at the last drift meet for the year out at Queensland Raceway in December, can\'t miss it, stupidly low, black 17x9 Blitz rims on the front, black 17x8 Enkei\'s on the back and a straight through exhaust. All completely legal of course......... :)

at no point in my life have i ever heard that a straight-through exhaust was illegal!! :p

Ferret yours is IRS isn\'t it... Anyway the rear hubs from an Australian delivered Z31 turbo will bolt up, they are 5 stud. Unfortunately not many around. I was out at PHW wreckers (at Stapylton half way to the Gold Coast) the other day and they had 6 Z31\'s there. Ony one was a turbo,(all the rest were non turbo 4 stud) rear suspension arms were there, but you guessed it someone had robbed the 5 stud hubs out of them!

re 4 link solid rear s12\'s . I saw an 84 australian delivered cedric in the wreckers, (280c or 300c not sure which) and it definitely had 5 stud 4 link style rear end. The axles/hubs etc out of this would probably work in a 4 link type s12.

Thanks for the info Gerrybg, so all I have to do now is find a z31 turbo to rob the rear hubs out of......
Oh well, as I\'ve found with everything else for it, if you look long enough and hard enough you can turn up just about anything for the right price. :p

Cause other way to do it is finds some very obliging US member who is wrecking a V6 s12 and get them to rattle gun the nuts off the inside of the hubs and send the hubs over!! Quite a postable item I would say. Maybe a swap for front clear corner lights, (what we call parkers) could be arranged???

A big thankyou to jlozano180, as my hubs are now on the way. Also Jose\'s clear corners are on the way to him.
