No Spark +12v

ok, i cant get any spark to arc off the coil wire onto anything. My multimeter reads 12v coming out of the coil. Whats the deal?

...when companies promote their coils, how do they compare it to the competition? voltage. my Blaster II is 40,000 volts. 12 souds like a bad coil, How are you measuring it?

it is probably getting a positive and a negative, but the trigger has gone bad.  check the wires that the little transformer (im not sure what its called) plugs into.     this \"transformer\" then hooks into the coil.

check voltage when key is on and check for continuity.
