Hello!
« on: 06:22:42 PM / 04-Jun-06 »
Wanted to say hi! I had signed up before the forum redesign, but had only made one post.  I don't currently have an s12, but I should be picking up an 87 hatch, I believe it has a ca20.  It will be my Daily Driver while my current car (1990 RX-7) goes under the knife, so to speak.  Need something with good gas mileage and cheap to buy, can't pass up a $1k rwd hatch!

ahha good choice.  Welcome to the forums.  The ca20e is a bit gutless at times, but boy is it sure fun to rag on :D

I hope so! I do a lot of city driving, which really sucks when you're driving a rotary under 3k rpm all day! Those things love to rev and I need some stretching room to do it in.  I don't mind the engine being gutless, really.  Looking more for gas mileage right now.  Eventually I'd like to try and build a high-revving motor for the s12 (something similar to the motor in the S2000) or something else for it.  But right now I think the most extensive mod it would get would be a new air filter! I know I'm probably going to need a new passenger fender for it, and possibly play with its electronics some.  Evidently, the parking lights sometimes come on with the turn signals, and the headlights pop up if they feel like it when you flip the switch.

haha me modding would be a disaster.....Id get all power hungry and  demand n00dz from everyone. Then make all the canadian s12er's come here  and massage my feet and make me jello pudding.

Actually....mod powers plz?!?!?!  0:)

Tedious?  This coming from a person who uses the word twice in a sentence?  I laughed repeatedly...

Guess I should have specified.  By high revving, I meant 9k+ redline.  Something higher than my stock rx-7's redline (8k).
