okay kids, the ca18et FAQ section is in need of more content.

Lets make a list of what the ca18et Frequently Asked Questions are.  If you see a question here you know the answer to, make a new thread and let us know, or point us in the direction of an old thread with the right info.  We'll review it, and if it's good enough, we'll throw it into the FAQ.  I'll add questions to the list below as the questions come in, and cross them off as we get more answers.  I'll start things off with an easy one.

"How much boost can the stock engine take?"

in completly stock form about 7-9psi is a limit after that you will start pinging alot.. i was able to run about 9psi with everything stock minus the exhaust and intake, as long as the weather wasnt too hot like the 100's

it'd probalby be better if we do all the Q&A here that way we can review the answers and make sure we are in agreement

needs maintanince information FIRST! plug pn#, wires pn#, gaskets pn# NGK o2 sensor part number, parts suppliers, common problems (cluster meet screwdriver). Honestly, the dual coil mod and which turbo fits should not a be a frequent question. However, "how do I change my timing belt and what are all the parts and part numbers needed" is absolutely vital. How to build a boost leak tester, how to check for compression. I hate to keep posting new threads in a quest for juvenile information, or hunting and coming up with inaccurate/outdated information. How to properly fight nissan's o2 elbow nut blockers (you know what I'm talking about, I'd like to punch that engineer's mother in the mouth).

I've got my new OEM timing belt on it's way so I'll do a writeup on that with the part numbers, but it's taking me way too long to hunt for what I need to get this vehicle running properly (like a top). I've got other posts in this section with unanswered questions, which have been thuroughly searched, which should be basic knowledge and therefore easily attained. So please drop by one of my several threads and fill me in if you have a chance.

best place to pipe in a boost guage and boost controller and how much boost can i roughly get with a sr t25 fmic and intake before pinging starts to happen
edit: another question to run a vented bov on a ca18et is anything special need to be done since in some spots the maf could be reading air before the bov which in resulting a mis read of air fuel mix

I'm downloading it, I think it's time I host all of them on the server. Along with a bunch of other important shit.

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

Good call man, it would really suck if whoever is currently hosting it ran out of space and took them down.
