New Signature Rules

Okay, we haven't had a problem with this in the past, but the issue has come up now.  

From now on, there will be signature size restrictions.

All images within the signature are to be a maximum of 500px wide by 300px high.  All images must be under 150kb, and the file size of all the images in a signature cannot exceed 250kb.  

The total height of a signature, measured from the bottom of the dotted line, to the top of the red border canoot exceed 400px.  



I think this is a very reasonable compromise between high, and low resolution users.  

All users exceeding these limits have two days to comply.  All members who do not resize their images/signatures will be contacted through pm on June 26th.  If further refusal to change continues, warnings will be given out.

Personaly I think that is still way too big. Is there any need to have that much shit in a signature?

it's a limit, most people won't use it all up.

Still doesn't avoid the fact that 1/3rd of my screen will be filled by somebodys sig at some stage.

well those are the rules that were decided upon.  

If you dont' like signatures and avatars and what not you don't have to look at them.  

Go into your Control Panel and just turn it off.  It's as easy as that.

no i like to see them but i think that is huge i dont care they all load just the same on my computer but seriously do u need that big of a sig. maybe uts just me
