Just curious if anyone knows what the following leftover wires are coming off of the 3 plug connectors on the ca18det harness.

Green/ yellow
Blue/ yellow
Blue/ red (not the bigger blue/ red wires that got used)
Blue/ white
Solid grey
Green/ orange.

Just curious what these are for......car runs great, just curious

They're not individual plugs.....they're part of the 3 plugs within the ca18det engine harness, that are located in the front left corner.......other wires in the bundle are the black/pink fuel pump wire.....brown o2 sensor wire, etc, etc.

iight Keith check it... these are the only ones i found that had the two wires u were talking about.  both of which are not needed (i believe)

My motor came from a RH drive model so i don't have as many plugs as the LH drive don't know why and don't care just makes my life a lil easier.  If im correct those 3plugs in the harness should be connections to the engine room harness.  Again if u got the FSM the motor harness plug numbers are F8 F9 and F10 for the LH drive model.  In the pic shows my plugs as F8 and F10 RH drive didn't have an F9

Let me know if that clears things up for u.

Green/ yellow = AC
Blue/ yellow = Idle Air Control Valve
Blue/ red (not the bigger blue/ red wires that got used) = ?
Blue/ white = ?
Solid grey = ?
Green/ orange = Transmission Neutral Switch

I think if I go thru the fsm I can find the ? marks.

Mine came from a rhd clip......I think the pic you posted is the same 2 as mine, plus the bigger 3rd one.  About a foot away is those 2 barrel thingys, attached to the loom.  I'll snap some pics and post them up.
So, the blue/ yellow is the idle air control valve?  Hmm, sounds kinda important.  Is that what makes the idle go up slightly when  you turn on the lights, etc?  Because mine doesn't do that.....idle actually drops some when an accesory is turned on.
