Looks good man! You should bend the front flare some more to line up with the wheel wells though, what material are they made of?

FRP...  Yeah im going to reposition the front as best as possible they have some flex but not much too em...  The s13 has wider arches so they dont line up the best...  Hard part is is that I cant get them off cause once I start to drill out the pop rivets they just want to push through the flare which is not what im going for...  thankfully they dont cost too much to buy new ones

So here is the current state of the car...

Taking it out to replace the rod bearings.  I thought that maybe I could do it with the engine in the car but that was a stupid thing to think!  While I have it out im going to drop some solid motor mounts in and change some other shit.

On the bright side I got some more goodies for it...

Megan street coilovers and I need to find some good brake upgrades that will fit inside of a 15" wheel and im ordering some brembos next friday along with whiteline sway bars anf spacers for the front.

Brand new sparco sprint 5...  Perfect fit for my skinny ass!  It comes with the crotch belt insert to that previous sprints didnt come with (probably end up throwing this in the passenger seat and buy an Evo.

Solid motor mounts?  Do you literally mean a welded up motor mount with no insulation at all?  Or is it some kind of poly kit or something?  I'm curious.  I hate how much my engine torques around.

Btw your's is my fav car on club-s12.  Mine is eventually gonna end up being almost a copy of what yours is right now.  Just cause I love the style so much.  Loooove the flares.

So it turns out it was not my rod bearings but imma replace them anyway.  It was the one of my main bearings it turned out.  You cant see that much in the pic but you get the picture.  Very light scoring on the crank with little to no clearance change so I caught it just in time before it got worse!

And on the mounts im using urethane hockey puck style mounts

LOL just searched the forum for "hockey puck".  Didn't realize you could use hockey pucks and bolts to make motor mounts.  Are there poly inserts suitable out there or do I need to make a trip to the sporting goods store?

hockey puck style means they are the type that are round not actually hockey pucks
but you probably could use hockey pucks
