Dave's Ca20e S12

I bought my car back in January.  I paid $2600 for it.  It was all original with only 33,000 miles on it!!  After a tune up it was running great.
My first mod was a new muffler.  I hacked off the nasty, old stock muffler and welded on a cherry bomb glasspack.  Here's a video of the exhaust.

In May I had my windows tinted.  I also wired up some electric fans from an Infiniti G20.
In June I pieced together a spectre modular intake.  I also wired up sequential turn signals.  This is definately the coolest thing I've done to my car.  Here's the video of them.

Just last week my alternator died so I replaced that with a remanufactured one.  My water pump is bad and I will be replacing that this week.  I will also replace my timing belt just because it's old.


Within the next few weeks I will be converting it from auto to manual.  So hold tight for now.  Also some suspension work to come.

Damn your car has such a clean body.  I'm jealous.  We need to get together sometime.  I'm in south Vegas near Jones and Robindale.  There's an AutoCross in Primm on August 25th.  Not sure if you've ever done any AutoX stuff.  I've never been to one.

I live at pecos and the 215.  I'll check into the autox.  I'm not sure if I can do it though where I'm still only 17.

I have no idea where that is but I'll look it up, lol.  I think 16 and 17 are ok with parent consent.  Pretty sure everyone has to sign waivers anyways.  And I remember reading in the rules that you have to have a valid driver's license too.

It's right near Seven Hills and Anthem.  My Sister is actually buying a condo within a mile of you, Rainbow and Warmsprings, so I'll be in that area a lot now.

Indicators are good , funky!

Auto change will make life a little more interesting. Is it the old Ca20e? If so, not sure if you'll have to swap the Ecu while ur at it.

I can keep my ecu.  IggyEguana did it.  http://www.club-s12.org/forums/index.php?s...=auto+to+manual I'll probably be going with a b trans though.  I don't want to go with a custom driveshaft.

wow there are vegas heads here with s12's sweet and you ride is clean all three of us need to get together and kick it when I finally drop my motor in and get everything buttoned up oh and dave I got two b trannies one good and the other is unknown since the guy I got from said it was fucked but still worked but I'll sell you my good one I also sent you a pm so let me know

I'll be working at Whole Foods soon.  My friends a manager their but he won't be able to get me working till school starts again.  $10/hr to work in a grocery store!!!  My first paycheck will be for the conversion.

lol, ok first vid.   The sideways thing sucked.  reminded me of those tacobell commercials that had something to do with hurting your neck from eating tacos... dont remember exactly, anyway.  And auto trans sucks.  Sounds so annoying shifting on you all the time.  And the U-turn woulda been a lot more fun if you had LSD or welded diff.. like me. (hehe I feel so naughty having a welded diff, its so wrong but so right)

Second vid.  lol.  Ok man you really must have been bored.  And i bet your neighbors really love hearing your car, lol.  fuckin cherry bomb, lol.  I can't talk though cuz I've got a MagnaFlow straight through muffler and a gutted cat.

I still can't believe how clean you S12 is.  Showroom brand new.

The car has a few dings here and there.  And some of the interior got ruined by the tint shop.  The car is just about perfect though.  Could need a wash, but still looks great.
