I have made a few practice hood scoops for my car and finally decided to install one.

Here it is with the hole cut in and it just sitting in place

After it being welded in I used bondo to fill in the minor gaps and leave a smooth transfer.  I also filled in and beat out a couple of dents.

After the bondo dried a couple of coats of rattle can primer and paint and it doesn't look to bad.

also threw on a EBAY Muffler

That's pretty cool. It would be perfect for a turbo's S12.

looks like the old FC's scoop

why not make a vent type scoop like the Zs?

looks like a good job none the less

that specific duct is called the "naca"-duct (national aeronautical committe america, turned later into nasa) , and is proven to cause much less airflow disruption than a typical "scoop".

just a litle more information than we needed about a damn hood scoop

silverarrow27

Looks identical to a z31 hood scoop. I would have saved myself the trouble of making one and got one off a z31.

That's funny cause I thought the craftsmanship could have been better, but I love the style.
