hmm...looks like you bought SE tails for a hatch...i don't know that you can make those fit on a coupe, i'm not sure though...

damn it! i just took off the tail light and the hole of my taillight frame is small. About taillight coming off the hatch its not its from a coupe thats why i had to buy them for 20 buck each. Damn it i dont what cut shit off but really love this taillights.

swap all the metal and plastic pieces of the mk2 onto your mk1 and you shouldnt have to drill or chop up anything to crazy

Yeah what they said.

Don't try and chop your mk1 bits to make it fit, it'll look half arse and the mk1 bits will be f'd.

You need the centre plasic panel(s) off a mk2 coupe.Whereever you got them from better see if they have the other bits you need.

premo, those are too long and short to be hatch tails. im fairly sure he did infact get notch tails.
