I have read about s13 walbro used in the s12. I was wondering if I could get comfirmation on that and any possible problems I may run into from someone who has installed one on their s12. Help greatly appreciated.

If you're competent enough to re-instal a stock fuel pump and get it working, you will be able to get the walbro working without issue.

i just installed a s13 walbro 255 about 2 weeks ago, and it works fine.  Just make sure you remount it lower so it can pick up fuel from the bottom of the tank since the walbro is a much shorter fuel pump.  Nothing wrong with using a few zip ties for your fuel pump

I'm running one as well. No problems other than what the guys have already said, mount it so the filter is at the bottom of tank.
