so ive decided after alot of thought and research that im gonna put a VG30DETT in meh s12. there are 2 at me junkyard (dude said tht one was running when they got it) the place wants 400 bucks for it (68k miles tranny included)and im gonna go for it. prolly not gonna be drivin me car for a good long while but hopefuly it will be worth it .

will post pics when i get the engine (gettin in on saturday )

sounds like a great deal. A z32 tranny is worth $300 alone and thats on the low side. If its a twin turbo motor then its a real good deal. I've got a TT motor in my garage (apart at the moment) that I'm thinking I'll put in my S12 or potentially a s13. I'd really like to set it up as a single turbo setup though.

yeh the turbo's are a chink in my plan.... almost no room in the engine bay so i gotta fabricate something.... unfortunatly no1 at any of my buddy's shops works on nissans regularly.... dave (not that his name matters cuz yall dont know him) is a new mechanic at one of my buddys shops and he knows a fair bit about my car so we'll prolly figure out something

I would front mount the turbo's less piping and a little more room

Yup...lol seems like the time of year for this type project to surface.  I really want to see somebody else do this.  Here are some motivational pictures for you to think about.  Evidently this car runs, but I have no evidence to support this statement.
