Hillkill's Ca18det S12
« on: 11:09:36 PM / 14-Dec-07 »
So went to the dyno today and put down 279.7hp @6150rpm to the wheels.  I will have the dyno sheet available soon.
Now it's time to get ready to get sideways at el toro marine base tommorrow.

Clutch was slipping when full boost hit at ~4200rpm.
Run was made with 1.1bar on a s14 t28 bolted on a xspower manifold with a Circuit Sport dump/downpipe to my 2.75 straight through exhaust.  Octane for the run was about 95~96ish.  But it put consistent 250-270hp runs on pump 91.
I'm running 550's, nismo fpr,  z32 maf, and a map i wrote but burned and safc2 tuned by Import Auto Pro's in Westminster, CA.  It truly shook the ground and the dyno when it pulled these numbers.  If anyone needs a eeprom tune and or dyno runs hit me up.

I finally broke down and got 240.
But it's a Vert with 18's and a 5spd :)

Trust me I've already thought about it, but then i would have to put a cage in the vert too.  Maybe a bolt in one wouldn't hurt.

Really top numbers out of a ca18det. (The bigger injectors help heaps don't they, not just the turbo, you need em to squeeze every drop out of the turbo). People would say you need somethiong bigger than an s14/s15 T28, but theres the proof with enough fuel and the right mixtures you can crack it.

Wow that torque is boner for a 1.8. I think this is the first 18DET dyno I have seen that shows good power below 4000 RPM.
I'd rather be a matchstick than a lighter.
