I could use a little info. I'm not stupit, just new. I'v had the car for about 12 years coverd inside. The car just got fresh paint, and i was thinking of making the car as fast as it looks. I'v been reading threw this site, and it seems like its not worth it to try to stroke the CA20E.But I do like all the amennitties in the car, especially her VOICE! And would not like to lose it. Is there a way?

The chassis harness wouldnt change if you changed motors. Your just changing the engine harness.

thank you, now I need to choose a engine any suggestions?

there are plenty of diffrent swaps you could atempt, some just bolt in and others need fabrication, you need to figure out your bugget, and end power goals and decide whats best for yourself. but yea the engine harness and the body harness are seprate things

OK is there an engine that will just bolt in to the orignal 5 speed trans. that is known to be a good stoker (turbo or non) is there one that needs very little mod.?

I'd rather be a matchstick than a lighter.

honestly all i can tell you is do lots of research and just make sure thats the motor you want cause theres no going back after you start swapping the motor in.

motors that need little mods to fit I've red are CA18DET, CA18ET and the FJ20ET (don't quote me on the FJ I'm not 100% sure)

well all the popular nissan motors (ka, sr, ca) will bolt into the ca20 crossmember and the bellhouse swap will alow you to keep your existing gearbox and driveshaft, if you have the c style transmission. and hell your close enough that i could help with whatever swap you decide on, i'm not a expert but another set of hands never hurts
