Debut...airjockie's Little S-12...big Pics...

Been lurking here for a while, and might as well start showing off...per say.

I bought an 88 S-12 a while ago, and finally got it running right, and now for some fun...and ish. It's currently the daily driver, with a KA swap..the MPG are killing me, so I might do an SR20 later, but first was some wheels, some crappy monroe 300zx shocks, and update the ignition a tad. Full tune-up was done, and I just finished today with a new PVC valve.. hopefully it will run a little better. I'm sourcing together the Megan coilovers set, hope to find some S14 tension brackets soon, and go from there. I want to take this thing to English town next week-end...so I'll be spending all week tossing parts at it. IE...an R-180 with a Nismo 2 way LSD. It's already got a few sets of Watanabe's, and a pair of Work's meshies...so the wheels and tires are pretty much done...I can change the flavor of the car accordingly to the mood I'm in.

I'm good for now, when I blow this engine I might go for that or do the SR.

its a sohc ka.

he bought it that way. but did a good bit of cleaning up of things.

yes the front rims are 14's rears are 15's.

he is a wheel whore. lots of pairs of 14, 15's and i think some 13's.

i'm new to the s12 car. i got and 87 se independent suspension ... been looking everywhere for a used diff...pissed off ..so when i get a few quid i'm just goin to get a new one ...fuck it....anyways how do you find your new diff . and what one do i order from nismo.. year ,brand, part number ect....will i need much more hardware to get it in. how much will i be lookin to fork out? would you be able to forward me the link to their web site...

i really would appricate any info you can give me..
i'm a bit of a numb nut when it comes to this stuff....

When I was in Japan, I was walking thru one of the many used parts shops they have like up-garage and sekohan, and I walked up to a box that had a diff in it, and in Japanese it said R-180 Nismo 2way LSD new....$19000 yen. So I bought it and brought it back, installed it on my Z with a clean case and some 4.11 gears from a nissan Pratrol front diff. Sorry, I don't have the numbers or anything, but I do know that it is a discontinued item, and Courtesy Nissan used to sell them for a ton of money.
