If "NISMO" stands for Nissan Motorsports does that mean "HOMO" stands for Honda Motorsports?

well goodluck and make sure to post plenty of pics...I was thinkin of doing an l28et in an s12 it would be badass and lighter than the z it came in

so your going twin turbo?

sorry to be a skeptic; but thats going to be nearly impossible on a LHD car; seeing as the exhaust and intake are on the drivers side.

also what makes you want that head/block combo for boost?

i see you mention blow through, do you mean you want to carb it and have a turbo?

im just hoping you do all the homework before you buy all this stuff and then get frustrated.

ill definitely be watching this since im planning on an l28et in my s13

have a single cam KA in your mk 2?

please help!

that head/block combo is just what i happened to find. this is what the motor currently has. as far as what STAYS on it, thats yet to be determined.

my ideal is a f54 block, p90a head. worst case scenario, this engine can go into my s30, and the engine from the s30 can go into my s12.

i just stumbled on this engine at a stupid price.  i can always part out what i dont end up using to help fund the build.

well, its been awhile since i posted anything, i ended up selling the 84 turbo to VG30_S12, and he in turn passed it along to another owner...lol. picked up a 72 240z, and am currently working it over. here's a quick picture rundown of some of whats went on already.

day 1, lots o hidden rust. but its a salvagable 240z...lets DW.

picture of (then) non running engine.

busted out a rustoleum paint job, and my inner redneck came out.

shot of the engine...TOPLESS!

dropping the rusty OEM tank, installing a RCI 12 gallon fuel cell (seen in picture)

found this when removing all OEM fuel filler equipment... im gonna be a freakin expert on rust removal when this is done.

well, whats a man to do? out with the old.....

and in with the new! spot welded a new piece of sheet metal up, and some bondo to smooth the panel out. bout half done in this pic.

and this is how i roll, i even get the wife in on it!!

and where she stands today.

so far ive done the following:

removed, cleaned, sync'd and tuned the twin early SU carbs, so now i have a RUNNING motor!
removed the P.O's passenger floor pan and frame rail "repair" and installed a new floor pan, and nice beefy new frame rails courtesy of www.baddogparts.com. now my chassis will be a LITTLE stiffer when she gets some more muscle under that hood.
installed 12 gallon RCI fuel cell.
other rust repairs damn near EVERYWHERE on the car (both front fenders, both doglegs, replaced hood) still have more to do. but the external body rust has been dealt with at this point. its just minor stuff here and there now.
Welded in rear strut tower reinforcement, will be adding other strategic "weight" in other areas as i progress.

stay tuned. i know its not a S12, but hey, its a nissan. show some love :)

picked up a set of S13 seats to go in, and did some in depth research on the S13 VS S30 chassis. they are fairly similar, and im going to use some of what nissan did with the S13 to strengthen the S30's chassis. ill post a pic overload later, uploading pics of Tims (VG30_S12) s12 for his page, and very busy today.
