So you're the guy who won that auction.  Very nice.  There was a rear bumper too.

As for the turbo you have to get the numbers of the data tag and then a good google hunt should shed some light.

yeah, I hope to find them w/o having to remove the turbo.
only needed one fender, but hey. And believe it or not, no dents or rust.
the auction said it was a 86, but they have the mkII trim.

Dude verryy nicee,.. im going to do a ca swap into mine. hey does the shifter sit in the stock place?? o-0
the way mine was done(moving the engine placement) it fits normal, with no other mods.
if you use the stock mounts and the JDM tranny, youll need to cut out the tranny tunnel.
you could use the stock tranny without mods to the tunnel, but the JDM tranny is sopposed to be better( although my 2nd gear is shot).

JDM cars are usually a year or 2 ahead of the rest of the world market.  They always hog the goodies to themselves.

There are 83 S12s. hmm

um, you kinda have that wrong. not completely.

in japan they register the car as the production date, not the model date.

like one of my 240's had a production date of 11/88. here its still registered as an 89.

in japan it would have been registered as an 88.

but yeah, to some extent, they do get he cars earlier, but thats normal for most home markets. europe gets the benzes, and bmws before us, etc.

ohhhhh so thats why.  makes sense.  I always thought it was odd that they would ALWAYS have new models avail a year earlier in japan, lol.

where abouts is the data tag, I looked around the compressor, nothing. But I did notice the exhaust side is a 4 bolt, 4in dia flange.
