installing s13 seats in my 200sx

take out the seats of the s12 and remove the seats bracket. and drill off the little hold down bracket

should look like this

take off the s13 bracket, do the same and drill it off. the inside bracket will need to be cut off, i used a grinder

now do the inside bracket first. get mocked up and welded it up

now put the seat(s13) and bolt the inside bracket on, cuz the s12 bolt holes are closer together, the s13 brackets are wider. so you have to move the bolt down bracket in on the outside backet

then spot weld it, and recheck it

bolt everthing together and put the seats in

s14 knuckle covervion
dont have alot of pics. my camera died

1 remove the wheel
2 remove the two bolts from the bottom of the spindle, using a 17mm wrench(real hard to get off)
3 remove the three strut mount bolts 14mm
4 step on the control arm, the strut should fall off.
5 now remove the ball joint nut and pin w/ pilers & a 22mm socket& breaker bar
6 remove tie rod nut and pin, 18mm socket
7 a use pickle fork to get bracket off the tie rod and ball joint

8 you can use s12,s13 & s14 ball joint.  if you want to put in new ball joints you have it press them in & out.

9 put the knuckle on, bolt everything on

(make sure u get s13 tie rods inters and outers) and get it alined

Wow nice write ups and the engine bay looks great.  Usually not a fan of the V6 but urs is very nice.

Ya I grew up in NorCal.  Born in Orange (SoCal) family moved to Marysville at a young age.  Citrus Heights when parents split.  Roseville when I moved out.  Back to Marysville when I moved back in with my dad.  Las Vegas when I re-moved out.  Lovin it so far but wouldn't mind SoCal, NorthWest, Central East Coast, Western Canada, Mayb Virginia somewhere.  You know how it is.  Mos def never NorCal again though.

I like S13 seats very much - they are comfortable and looks good also.  Is it better with this short shifter? Is it shortened stock? Because personally I feel that the 3-rd or 5-th gear is kinda far away and I need to reach it... So I'm thinking of possible ways.
And can you please explain what is this on the pic?:

Nitro... that is the Evap thing I think it's called.  All I know is that it has to deal with emissions.

I've seen some similar looking thing called "carbon canister" or something like that. It's like and oil catch tank or something?
I've had some similar looking thing in my crappy export-ready "Lada", and it wasn't connected anywhere, so eventually the mechanics torned it outta there and throwned away )

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

Yummy!  The taste and smell of petrol!  I love it as much as I love the smell and taste of burned rubber.  And before any of you ask if I've tasted burned rubber, I havent, but yanno when you smell something so strong you can all but taste it in the back of your throat.  Ummmm yeah.

now for the s13 tie rods

you should have the tie rod disconneted from the knuckle, if you already did the s13 s14 knuckle cov.
1 take off the inter tie rod off with a pipe wench

2 the s13 tie rods (inters) are too long so you have to shorten them. there are two ways to do this

        (1) is to cut about 1/2in's (just a estimate) off the treads and the tie rod

        (2) cut about 1/2in's est. in the middle of the inter tie rod and the treads and weld it
see how the ends are taperd at the ends so the weld will be deeper

i took a flap grinder to the weld to flating the weld

then i powder coated the tie rod (red)

then i installed the tie rods

i did my own toe in alinement and this is how you do it

1 take a tape measure and measure a crossed the front and back of the tire.
start from the middle of one tire a crossed to the middle of other (mark it with calk)

2 take the measurement from the rear and the front of the front tires and add them together

x + y = z
then divide z by 2

for exmape
55.25 + 54.5 = 109.75

109.75 / 2 = 54.875

then your adjust the tie rods untill the lenght cross from tire to tire is the number you came up with.
