So Uhh...while browsing another car forum earlier, I found a site that might benifit us too.

Its called stockinteriors.com and has a DAMN good selection of carpet colors/types.

So for people who have shitty carpet, this site might be a good alternative to trying to find someone elses semi-used shit carpet.

Everyone I've seen that used this site, definitally swears by the quality.

direct link to our model cars.

id like to sticky this for future reference. i know lots of members who are redoing their interiors will benefit from new carpets. anyone agree on the sticky?

Marvin (Radracer_S) used an aftermarket carpet before, I wonder what his comments are about this.

Has anyone here actually used this company? A handful of companies out there will produce carpet for our cars. Some might be better than others.

Getting aftermarket carpet into mine took sometime to trim and cut to fit into the edges. You also need to get insulation as well as I forgot to get some. It gets hot when you dont have some in there. So two options: aftermarket carpet + insulation =   or oem black carpet.

okay, i guess the pad thing is called insulation? i have that under, its glued to it, and kinda annoying but usefull
im just saying once my seats go in, most of that mumbo jumbo will be covered. diy is probally way cheaper
i had some fun cutting it up a little bit, (jaidseye did most of it) and fitting it around the railes etc.
i also have it cut so i can pull out HALFS of the side, not on the bridging part, just where the trans well plastic is
so in the future, i dont have to pull the whole carpet out to get under it on one side

Why did they give you looped fibers instead of cut pile?

Nissan is cut pile from the factory. Looped is what you have... looks like an old 60's car  When you guys order yours, ask the vendor you want to buy from if they give you the choice of cut pile or looped. Get eh cut pile, it looks more modern and is Nissan factory-correct.

How can I be jealous? I have a NEW *OEM* carpet in my car  It's cut pile, not loop. Loop is harder to keep grit and shit out of, but looks nice.
