Djays12's S12 Garage Thread
« on: 05:37:58 PM / 21-Oct-08 »
I've been member here for near two years, but never did an official build-up thread.. So here it is.

First, I'll just write a short historical of my car since I've bought it.

So I bought the car around april 2005. I was 16 at that time. Didn't know a fuck about this car unless it was RWD.. and that was all the matter to me!

Here is what it used to look like when I bought it:
The damage was estimated at 1,800$.. wich was the value my car worth for the insurance.. so they gimme the choice... crap it and get 1,800$ or get it repaired with 1,800$ from my insurance.. So I decided to repair it.. and get the exterior completely resprayed at the same time!

I didn't want to get a weird mix of interior and exterior color, so I just end up keeping the original blue and get the hood and the lip kit painted black! I think it does look good doesn't it??

Bended on both side. Not a lot, but still bended.
)
Urethane bushing kit
and of course LSD!!!

That should make a not too bad ride! ^^

*Off-Topic: Haha I just read somes of my first posts.. my English is sooooo much better than it was!*

lol Jason, those are the ones that were developed with this club's help.  You have to swap the front to S13 knuckle, etc, and then they are bolt on.  I would imagine they are still available...

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch

Ebay! This is the red notch you can get. Mine is now a RC! I've took apart 3 different RC, build them a custom frame from hyper-glue and plastic pieces to fit the body!

Costed me about 25$ Shipped from Japan!

A few more pics for you:

Thats awesome, were helping you with your english, lol
Also your car is so clean its one of the reasons I want to build my Notch
AND THROW THOSE HOSHINOS ON THAT RC CAR JUST FOR A PIC!

Actually, thats a good idea for the calendar...find like a high curb or something that you put the RC car on, and take a pic of it with the car just behind it...get a good clean shot of the car though, dont let the RC be the center focus..it needs to contribute to the photo not be the main point..needs to be in a way that people see your car lookin shiny and beautiful FIRST, then just HAPPEN to see the RC car, but the RC car still needs to be full enough to know what it is...
hard to do, but if you pull that off I think it would look great
PURPLE…OG…KUSH - I'm curious to see what Rauh-Welt could do with an S12 hatch
DeathAndMajesty - lol They would probably smelt it into another porsche.

Too bad the oshinos are too large to fit the body! They will stick out by a good 4mm.

I love your idea for the calendar too! ^^

As for my english, I'm now living in Nova-Scotia.. surrounded by english XD. But to be honnest I think this forum did help me a lot in my english writing! Sometimes I look at some old post I've made and ... Wow it look retarded haha!

I'm not on the SSC kit. The kit I have is the Megan Racing coilover kit. The kit is nice! I love it.. but still my first coilover suspension ever, so I cannot really compare it.

Why did you leave the sky blue notch club?  Kidding your car look awesome with the flat black paint!
