my new project 1987 ca20e auto "which sucks but oh well" paid $500 for it
and 150 for shipping a 176 miles one way. which is a good deal, cuz i would have
to get a uhaul dolly, find a truck "pain in the ass" gas money, so a
good deal.

its running like shit. did some tests

first i checked the fuel filter. it good, so it getting a good amount of fuel,
clean to

then, checked for spark pulled no.1 intake plug wire and grabed random plug a
had around, hooked it up, gounded it on the head and no spark tried no.2 no
spark, tried exaust side and got spark

then i tested the intake coil which should be between 8,500 to 12,500 ohm's
says the book it was like 1250 ohm so bad coil

had to order it like always, i hate living in a rural area, so tomarrow it
will be here and im in busseness

whats up with the hood? i thought that the ca20 had a flat hood and this one is raised.

THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

Bah... OBD2 restrictive bullshit. KA24DE can be had in OBD1 or 1.5 and a whole lot easier to swap. Modern engines are too dependent on the entire chassis harness, especially the NGC computer cars.

this is how you change a mk2 grille and marker lights to a mk1

1. take out the screws from marker light

2. unclip plug

3. undo the grill clips. stick a flat head unger the grill pry up, where the bottem is clip on

4. see the square hole are. you should have the white clips from the mk1. insert them in the hole

like this

5. plug it the new light

6. put the light on, screw the screw in and done

i dont have the grill yet so went i get it ill finsh this

before

after

lowering 1.25ins / 5 lug front w/ brakes

write up in a bit dont have time or parts waiting on wheel studs so i can put on the 5 lug hubs w/ wheels(225/50/16)

Arro

Just cut your Mark II grille to fit the Mark I lights. Lots of people have cut the slatted grille short to work with the Mark I cornerlights. Looks pretty good IMO.

i might do it for now. but i like the honey comb

now that i have time

lowering

1. i removed the strut,

2. then used a spring compresser to remove the spring. you can get one at your local parts house for like $25 or more. good to have thou

3 cuz i removed my lower spring seat on my SE struts, i had to use the one of the XE.so i use a flap grinder to get them off and reweld them to the SE strut. i droped the spring seat 1/4 of an inch, to give me i little bit of a drop. i had a inch to play wit.

4 droped in the tokico insert from a 300zx w/ a 1in drop, so a total of 1.25in's

5. put the spring back on and the strut

i still have to put the calpiers on and longer wheel studs to fit 225/50/16
