Comments: Bought many Bartco products over the years, ALL great quality stuff...however the "promise times" vary greatly.

Comments: Ok this is a long one because the whole thing has happened in the last 8 months and I still haven't got my parts yet.

As around 5-7th April 2009 I ordered a ca18et turbo manifold, steel lines, downpipe, hotpipe, a t25 turbo, oxygen sensor and a maf adaptor. I wasn't told an estimated date for the products to finish but I was thinking 1-2 at maximum 3 months. This eventually became 6 months of excuses and very bad communication service. Meanwhile I was always given hope that the parts would finish this weekend or the next. This made me keep my insurance on the car which has cost me about 1300 usd till today. For the 6 months I was understanding and patient but the waiting had to stop somewhere so I gave him a 2 week time for finishing or I would like a refund. 2 weeks later parts were sent but without any track & trace number (I wasn't asked if I wanted tracking and to pay extra). Parts never arrived. Contacted Bart about it again and after he contacting his local post office he told me the cargo had emergency landed and therefore the shippings were lost, but usps were looking for them. Cajun1guy who is also waiting for parts from Bart was given a similair excuse, this time with ups...

Status is now that 1 of the 3 boxes is found and the remaining two I have no idea about. I have asked for the custom(er) label number numerous times but again excuses. Im still waiting for Bart to ship me the one box which he has had for 3 weeks and I have loads of  reasons not to believe in whatever happened to the other 2.

Will not recommend.

USEF says "Impulsion is the term used to describe the transmission of an eager and energetic, yet controlled propulsive energy generated from the hindquarters into the athletic movement of the horse.". How cool is that? Impulsion build here

Comments: I read so much good stuff about Bart and spoke with him several times before placing my order for the fmic kit back in April 2009. He has been very helpful with information, but it's been 8 months now and my project is dead in the water. As Praizewood said, we have both been patiently waiting for our parts, only to get many excuses about the delays. I hope that Bart can get it together as he has so many great ideas to upgrade these wonderful cars. I do hope I can report soon that I received my kit, but I have been losing hope.

Comments: Be very careful when dealing with this person.

I really hate doing this but others need to know how this person goes about pursuing his business
dealings and the his capricious nature following up on his commitments.

Bart (BARTCO) introduced himself here Jun 13, 2009 with BARTCO Cnc Services
http://www.z31performance.com/forum/viewto...+BARTCO#p173467

I was quick to jump on his offer and asked if he could make Front Camber Plates for Stock Struts.
http://www.z31performance.com/forum/viewto...p;hilit=+BARTCO

He agreed and over 50 people showed interest in his product.

On 06/03/2009 I shipped him a complete strut assembly with included all
the stock parts on the strut minus the brake rotor and caliper. These parts were
off my project car which has a complete set of the last electronic adjustable
shocks available.

Last December after seeing he was shipping the camber plates, I asked for my
parts back.  Four days later, he says, "i have the stuff boxed up so i should be
able to get it in the mail first part of this week."After a wait a three weeks and still
no parts, I email him again. After four email and PM  attempts plus two phone
calls, I contacted his friend  Jay. Jay prods him into contacting me. Bart says he
shipped the parts to me plus the camber plates. He neglected to send me a
tracking number. Seems he had some employment issues and had to suspend
his phone and internet connection. This is part of his reply, "anyways i shipped
your stuff out over 2 weeks ago.. i just tried the tracking number and it doesnt
show any info i called ups and looks like my package is at the boise hub he
said that it had a tear or something and they wouldnt ship it until it was looked]
at by me..."

After a wait of 7 days, I finally get a tracking number and the parts arrive but
without the camber plates. I unpack the box and everything looked ok, but a
week later I realize there were some small parts missing. I email, Bart, "Could
you look around your shop to see if they may still be in you possession. They
are the Nut that retains the spring assemble and the Strut Mounted Bearing and
Rubber Dust Seal."

He's reply a couple days later was, "i found the parts you mentioned i cant
believe i forgot to include them i will get them on the way.. sorry about that..
as far as the plates i have a batch at the anodizers i will try to stop by there
and grap (sic) a set if they havent anodized them yet and get them sent as
well." That was 02/18/10.

On 03/17/2010 I still have not received the parts and again send a series
of email messages to him and Jay. On 03/23 Bart replies, "i just got back
into town and and i wasnt able to get it out before i left i will get you the
tracking number as soon as i get them mailed tommorow (sic)."

Since then I have emailed him 6 times and no reply. I have checked his forum
activity at zclub.nicoclub.com, z31performance.com, Z31.com and hybridz.org. He
last visited z31performace.com on Friday 04/09/2010. So I know he's not dead and
still has internet access.

Four days ago I sent him the major part of this report expressing my disappointment and
hoping my message would prod him in to a reply. True to character; NOTHING.

Sad.

Comments: Bart still owes me camber plates and caliper brackets from May 09. Bart also owes me bump steer spacers, adj. cam gears, fuel rails, and rack bushing all ordered in Oct 09. I also sent him 3 of my $550 fuel injectors and $200 Synapse fpr to mock the fuel rails up with. I've been calling and I get no response. The phone rings so i know its on. So far my money has bought me excuses and I don't even get those anymore. My car has been apart clogging my lift since May and it makes me sick to my stomach every time I see it.... which is every day .   I will update when the final outcome has been reached. Right now my opinion is don't trust Bart.
