Reoffering this service after a hiatus. Please read everything below as some info has changed.
------------
I can rebuild pretty much any journal bearing turbo. Doesn't really matter what car its from or who made it.
$150 for small frame turbos like t25/t28
$200 mid and large frame like T3/T04E/60-1 etc etc
$300 for Turbonetics large/oversize shaft turbos
Email: iggyeguana (at) yahoo.com
or just PM me on here
Price is USD of course
All bearings, seals, and thrust parts replaced. Internally and externally cleaned including the housings. Balance is maintained by carefully indexing the rotating parts to each other. That way the original factory balance is restored. Turn around time is 2-3 weeks. Some large frame turbos might take longer due to rebuild kit availability.
I treat every turbo as if it was my own. (better actually) If you have questions just ask.
A few of things I have to mention. VERY important!
1. If your turbo was rebuilt by somebody else and now its blown again DO NOT send it to me. Either they rebuilt it even though it was unrepairable and took your money anyway or they did the job incorrectly or they did not index the balance. In some cases I can repair what they did at the same time I service it but if they didn't index the parts for balance I CANNOT REBALANCE it. Theres no way for me to restore the original balance after its been altered. So if that happened to ur turbo ur ONLY option is one of the pro turbo service shops that have the machines to give the turbo a brand new balance. Note that large frame turbos normally have their parts balanced intependantly. Meaning that the parts are not indexed to each other.
2. If your compressor or turbine wheel has contacted the housing AT ALL!!!! its balance AND flow characteristics are trashed and so is it. Its garage decoration. A good way to avoid this happening is to STOP USING THE TURBO as soon as you figure out its blown.
3. If I take apart ur turbo and find that the shaft is worn undersized or the center housing bore is damaged I will reassemble it and send it back. I'll refund your money minus the shipping. Again, a good way to avoid this is to STOP USING THE TURBO as soon as you figure out its blown.
NEW------>>4. BEFORE SHIPPING!! Remove the oil feed line and oil return flange. Remove the water lines and take off the compressor inlet/outlets and o2 pipe. Not only does this make it easier and cheaper to ship but it greatly reduces the risk of damage during shipping.
NEW------>>5. Please view the following guide on how to package/ship/post a turbo.
