I'm not even sure I can get the blue car cleaned up satisfactorily for the calendar in time. That should tell you something, because I'd love to be in it myself... but I want it to look as good or better than last year.

Hella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.
i dont own a s12 at the moment but trying to acquire one to get rid of my s13 hatch

I've seen your car, don't underestimate your potential with the right photography. That and minor things can be dealt with.

mine would be alright if i washed it and photoshopped some yellow showing through on the rear bumper, but i still don't think it's good enough.

Some of you seem to think your car has to be great to get in the calendar, but it's more about the photography... some really slick cars lost out to just "decent" ones last year because the shots were nicer of the decent ones. You don't need a perfect car or even an expensive camera. You just need to keep these things in mind:

- Location, location, location!
- HIGH resolution images ONLY.
- Night shots tend to be too blurry for most digital cameras.
- If you're going to get creative with slanted angle shots, make it a severe angle... slightly crooked horizon and building or curb lines look sloppy.
- Unless your neighborhood has mansions, curbside shots can look amateur at best.
- Unless you are drifting/action shot, make sure your front wheels are *straight*. Crooked wheels make the car look broke, and detract from the natural lines of the chassis.
- No mis-matched wheel sets... you ever see magazine-quality cars with them? A calendar is more showy.
- Don't worry about taking shots that would show the license plate, we edit them with the club logo.
- Don't worry about minor body flaws.

Stick to those guidelines and your chances are good.

What about the use of non-digital cams? I mean if I take a picture with some fisheye stuff that has a bit artistic and funky way of taking photos, is that way off or?
