Concert Yesterday-heaven And Hell

Yes, I got to see Heaven and Hell yesterday.

For those of you who don't know, it's essentially the line-up of Black Sabbath from the Dio years...so original members minus Ozzy, plus Dio.

Great performance from them all, especially considering their ages.  Dio is still a wild man and was very impressive.

Coheed and Cambria opened; I used to be a huge fan until their drummer quit and the drummer from Dillinger escape plan joined.  My girlfriend had never seen them and convinced me to go.  They're still great live and the drummer has improved, but he's still nowhere near good enough to play in that band.  But, I'm really glad she got me to go, because it was great seeing Claudio and Travis duelling on guitar.

Overall a great show and a great time.  Strange to see Coheed play with Black Sabbath, but hell...30 bucks for 2 great bands is a great deal.
