My Us-version S12

its an US version S12.



unfortunately, her engine is not orig, she is running an A12 nissan, a 1.5L-gas engine.
her door glass are plastic-glass and not the original ones,

any idea guys if a GA16DNE can be converted to RWD layout, what trany would fit GA16DNE?

sir If you're referring to the engine, Yes it is a Front wheel drive engine, and can be found here mostly on Sentras,



I am not looking for a powerful nissan engine, I need some daily drive engine, and GA16 series engine are plenty here in Philippines. engine sometime cost around $300-400, SR20DE RWD here is a little costly costs $1200 and thats for the engine only,

no the car is rear wheel drive i dont think that their was ever a fron wheel drive s chassis his asking it the engine from the sentra could converted from a fwd engine into a rwd engine so he can put it into the s12 because the sr engines are way to much money

I think it is NOT fwd, he just bought it and it came with a swapped in engine. sr20de would be a sweet choice IMO. but it is pricey...do you have the KA series engines there?

A12 huh... Kind of a weird choice.

There aren't any RWD transmissions that I know of that would bolt to a GA, but it probably wouldn't be hard to make an adapter for the trans on the A12.

The other issue, is the distributor. It sticks out of the back of the engine pretty far.

All windows tinted yeah one of my friends has just been there, that's also a thing that was on a lot of cars. And lot of Jeepney's haha

Got confused with all the FWD RWD talk. Anyways, the Philippines are sick. Your car is sick. I would go with a SR or better even if it costs more... those are some weeny engines that are up for debate.

I am very new to Nissan Engines, got a nissan 5 years ago and it is a B12 Nissan(Sentra, Sunny(US))

for clarification,

my current engine is an A15 is a 1.5L RWD. the original CA20 was replaced by the owner because it blew a month ago.

GA16DNE (ca, from Sentra with ECCS,image posted) is a FWD and I am looking if it can be converted to RWD,

my bumper is a stock silvia and It was modified by the previous owner who is a fiberglass manufacturer by profession.

my door glasses are plastic-glasses and not the original silvia glass. thanks to sir Bigjer, and I found a pair of glasses. hope he can shipp the item to my other friend in Alberta,Canada.

as of now I am looking for these options,

-L20-24 from a Datsun 240Z/260/280ZX
-SR20DE twinside (I hate ECU's and dont have any plan to go turbo)
-RB20/RB26DETT.(If I can robbed a bank lols).
