Seized Sr20det (no Turbo) Worth $60-75?

Yo,

Might have a chance to pick up an SR20DET w/ no turbo, but manifold is there for $60-75 bucks. I don't plan on using it in my car but would it be worth it to pick it up and part it out? I plan on running KA24DE in my S12 but found this SR20 for cheap, any parts from the SR20 upgrades for a KA24DE?

If you are getting the whole motor for that much could rebuild it and buy a turbo for relatively cheap. Way cheaper than you could by a good SR. So I vote pick it up. Even if you have to slowly rebuild it. Also if you want to just part it out depending on what you have to part out you should be able to make your money back and then some even if it takes a little while.
Hope this helps your decision.

Yo,

Thanks for the reply. Pretty much what I was thinking but I wanted a 2nd opinion. I"ll see what happens in a few days after I get paid.

does it come with harness, ecu, maf, and ignitor, if not then I would price that out before you buy and possibly decide to keep it.  Second the 370cc injectors (purple) are good to those swapping to KA-T.  The manifold can be adapted to SR FWD cars (but you need to run Honda rad.)  But really aside from that there is not too much that is worth a ton of money especially depending on how "seized" it is...
