Quote from: PraizewoodTrue, prices are steeep. Was looking at a fj20 like michaels once. The owner wanted about 8000 usd for it. Then again, low milage mint condition. Got mine for around 2100-2200 usd which is probably the cheapest s12 in denmark in good condition. Enuff on prices I hope both you and michael finish your stuff soon so we can setup some s12 gathering.

thats harsh man...if i waited and kept a eye open i am sure i could find a finished sr or 18det swapped s12 on the west coast for that much if i had that kind of money.

Yeah it sounds like Denmark has some whack tax laws but from what I have heard most of Europe is pretty similar. And I thought it was bad in the US haha. I guess not. It does drive me insane though that you get re taxed on a car that has already been sold new. For instance in my state when you buy a used car you have to pay a 9.3% sales tax on the purchase price of the car. So even though the government got paid their share of sales taxes years ago for the car when it was brand new you get re taxed again! Awesome!

Damn sounds like you have your work cut out for you......so for the MS ECU are you wiring it up??? Which one did you buy...maybe do you have a link to where to buy it??? Please do a right up on it
Why so much to register damn???

The Mega Squirt is a modified MS nsparc 3.1. I've got a diagram for the wires. I've bought it from a danish MS guru. The price is ~650$, with a wireharness, maybe less.

Sure, I'll do a little guide for it

Hehe, we pay ~40% in tax. On top of this we pay 25% in VAT on EVERYTHING we buy. And for us car owners, we pay almost 2$ for one liter of gas, this is 7.5$ a gallon.

Yes it's free, but the quality is not good.

Enough whining for now

Back to the S12, I am going to install new brake lines now that the engine is out.

More to come.

The FJ is in the bay shining. I think apart from some body work, there isn't much mechanical stuff left to do before it's running

USEF says "Impulsion is the term used to describe the transmission of an eager and energetic, yet controlled propulsive energy generated from the hindquarters into the athletic movement of the horse.". How cool is that? Impulsion build here

The engine is in place, but only test installation.

I'm going to install / make exhaust, manifold, IC, oil cooler, fuelcell and fuelpump. Think it will take most of the christimas holydays to get it done .

And yes, there will be more pics.

Quote from: ka-t.orgHella flush and all associates should be gunned down for brainwashing people into thinking a 225 and lots of camber is proper wheel fitment. THAT IS EASY, anyone can camber a skinny as tire till it dosnt rub. Now fitting an 11 with a 315 on stock fender with reasonable camber, that is fitment. And looks, and performs better than both.

But the materials for 3" exhaust and manifold should arrive first next week.
